Assam laksa

Penang assam laksa is one of my all-time favourite Malaysian food. This assam laksa tastes really good. The soup is packed with prawn flavour. It is also quite sourish and a little spicy.

This dish is very spicy. It is very suitable for those who like spicy food a lot. As you seen in the photo, there is plenty of chillies inside the claypot. The fish is a bit dry. It may be due to over fried the fish.

Penang char kuay teow

Penang char kuay teow is my all time favourite Malaysian hawker food. This kuay teow is fried till fragrant (full with "wok hei"). It is fried with bean sprouts, chives, fresh prawns, egg and chinese sausage. The price is reasonable.
