After a day scroll at Mid Valley, it's time for dinner. Nestled at the humble area next to Daiso is a big food court called Food Junction where the food are cheaper than most in Mid Valley but doesn't disappoint in taste too.
I had the chicken karaage bentou set as I was craving for some chicken karaage. The set cane wutg tofu, green salad, potato salad, fragrant Japanese rice and pickles. Even though there's no gravy or sauce, the rice didn't feel dry, in fact it was supple and goes well with the rest of the small dishes. The karaage was a but hot when served. The tofu was smooth and tasty too. The cabbage was a bit hard but with the little bit of salad dressing, it makes its more edible. Even the potato salad taste good too. Oh yea, it comes with a bowl of miso soup
Overall I think it's a value for money bentou set which can easily challenge those from proper Japanese restaurant for a fraction of their price.
