I like their barley drink because they gave quite a lot of the barley, which I like to munch on before having our main course. It is also not sweet. smile

Our main star of the day.
This is seriously something!

Siu Yok was just normal and nothing special. Don't like it, it doesn't taste fresh enough. Not crunchy.

This restaurant is a must-try place though. No kidding!
You won't regret it. lol

The deco was very... hipster-ish if I might say. It feels kinda dark but it is bearable for me. There is an air-cond but I don't think it ventilates the area very well because it's open space rather than an indoor one. But the temperature is still bearable because it's night time. The menu didn't state any desserts that they serve, so we went to the counter and look what they had at the moment. It was around 9pm when we arrived there by the way.

They only have the Panna Cotta(left), RM10 and Pavlova(right), RM12 when we were there.
I have to say, this is the first time I've tasted a panna cotta. I didn't know what it was, but one taste of it, it's like Romeo fell in love with Juliet again. I love how milky it taste and it is not sweet at all. The sweetness comes from the syrup so for people like me (who doesn't like food that are too sweet), it is perfect. The Pavlova was good too! Not disappointed with our choice. How can you not like the generous berry toppings? I love berries! These two dessert hit the spot!(for me of course) lol

They sell Japanese crepes and Dik Dik coffee here. The crepe was different from what we normally consume. I was expecting a crunchy crepe but this was super soft, the texture was something like pancake but thinner. Tried something new and surprisingly I liked it. I only wish they would buy sweeter strawberries though, because it was very sour. They were quite generous on the amount of fruits though.

Pudding was okay only. Nothing special. But it wasn't too sweet.

Wall deco was really vintagey and sweet.

The special steak and pasta came with the potato soup. The sauce for the steak is really nice and the steak was cooked to medium and doesn't taste bloody at all. It was cooked to perfection and with the sauce, perfect combination! Though the potato soup was a bit bland.
The chicken cordon bleu was quite big and oozing with cheese. It good too!

The Onion soup was my favourite. It was very favourable though I would like it more if they also put in some cheese but it doesn't have them. This one is very recommended. I'd finished it in a heartbeat!

Aglio Olio Spaghetti.

Aglio Olio Spaghetti.

Garnished with generous amount of mushrooms and bacon bits. It was just above average for me but my boyfriend thinks otherwise. He couldn't stop singing praises for it.
Bacon-wrapped Asparagus

Bacon-wrapped Asparagus

Just as the name described it. Though it looks like an easy dish, it tasted wonderful.
Dave's Signature Caesar Salad

Anchovy egg emulsion topped with grated parmesan, crispy bacon bits, croutons, boiled quail eggs & tomato confit
I love the freshness of the ingredients. Crunchy vege and croutons, yums!
Mushroom Soup

The consistency is very thick and just perfect. One of the best mushroom soup I've ever had. The bread was very crispy too! Don't you just hate it when restaurant serves hard and stale bread. Thank goodness it wasn't like that here.
