Dry Kuay Teow  Smile Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

I personally prefer the dry one instead of the soup version and I also prefer to eat kuay teow noodles instead as I felt the flat nature of the noodles goes really well with the dark soya sauce. Topped with lots of minced meat and spring onion, the bowl of noodles are also served with a small bowl of soup with pork meat as an addition. This restaurant really is a great place to have brunch since its near my house ^^

Lou Shu Fan Soup Smile Sep 26, 2013

Lou Shu Fan, also known as silver needle noodles is a popular needles that mostly goes together with pork soup. It is short, about 5 cm long and 5 mm in diameter and it has a white semi-transparent colour. Here it is cooked together in a pork base sop and is topped with minced pork and lots of spring onions. The lou shu fan noodles always sold out quite fast so its best to head down to the shop early if you want to specifically eat lou shu fan noodles lol

Portuguese Grilled Fish Smile Sep 26, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung

This stall in the middle of Petaling Street's Chinatown has been around for decades, and my parents love their food alot. Even if it isn't really aunthetic Portuguese cuisine lol.

The preparation method takes quite a bit of time so do visit when you're willing to wait! Most of the ingredients are chucked into aluminum foil, and then cooked over charcoal fire. Served in a foil-wrapped piece, it opens up to show your freshly hot grilled fish in a spicy ginger sauce. You can choose what type of fish you want or what type of vegetables for it to go with.

That's how big the fish meat was! Very worthy meal indeed.

Ladies set Smile Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

I ordered this because I was quite curious about it and the name Ladies Set seemed to piqued my attention because, LOL what does ladies set even mean? Must be a salad or something which was half right. It did came with a salad side dish which was fresh and healthy for me. Besides the salad, it also came with very very light bolognese pasta, a few nacho chips (random much?), a few pieces of apples, and salmon cubes, which are my absolute favorite. This is the first time I've eaten something like salmon cubes! Bf thinks it tasted weird but I think the fresh salmon flavor all cooped up in the small little fried piece of cube is a smart idea ^^

Nasi Lemak 3.0 Smile Sep 26, 2013   (Related Review)

Apparently nasi lemak at Wondermama is very famous! I haven't tried Madam Kwan nor Serai's before so I can't compare, but Wondermama's rendition of a modern nasi lemak was amazingly esquisite and delicious, cooked with thought and lots of detail. The rice was cooked to a perfect state - not dry and not soggy either. It was tasty on its own and tasted even better when mixed with the sweet sambal, as well as the flavorful rendang which was suprisingly not satiating at all.
