Tokyo Kitchen Special Roll Smile Aug 27, 2013

This could possibly be one of the best dish they served us. The signature Tokyo Kitchen Special Roll. Ingredients are fried Tiger Prawn, Unagi, MANGO (yes mango) topped with their unique peanut sauce. I was surprised at the fact they put mango and peanut together. I mean, it would taste weird no doubt, but for this plate of awesomeness, it was purely awesome. And that is alot of awesomeness in an awesome. Awesomeception! I think the price is RM19.80, I'm not really sure. But it should be around there. Awesomely recommended! =D

Durian Crepe Smile Jul 25, 2013   (Related Review)

Possibly one of the best dessert I've ever had. If you're a fan of durian, this is the dessert for you. Durian ice cream, crepe layer pastry, cornflakes and a certain syrup was fantastic. It literally was the bomb/orgasm in my mouth. Lovely mix of flavours. The durian ice cream was really rich and smooth, the crepe was soft and manage to hold the flavours of the durian really well and the cornflakes gave it that extra crunch you have to love. Overall, fantastic!

Durian Puff Smile Jul 25, 2013   (Related Review)

Possibly another one of the best dessert I've had. This durian puff explodes like an atomic bomb in Hawaii. The very first bite would send you to heaven. The amount of durian creme in one of these puffs was....unforgettable. The skin, wrapping the whole thing has a similar texture to a durian, just slightly stronger and more chewy. In conclusion, I would pay up to RM4 for each of this thing. Although I do not know the price.

Economical Rice Smile Jul 25, 2013

Rice - Well cooked.
Kung Pou Chicken - Very flavourful and slightly salty. Close enough to how a Chinese restaurant would cook it. Well done.
Tofu with Vegetables - Clean and light with a mild flavours. Very good as well.
Fried Butter Strips (On top of the rice) - Well seasoned, lovely flavour and crunchy as well.
Sweet and Sour fish - Excellent. Identical to most Chinese restaurants.

Overall, the dishes were really good. Honestly, it was surprising that the food they deliver wasn't oily like regular Chinese restaurant but could almost have identical or even better flavours. The owners were also really nice people, they actually had desserts such as durian puff and cupcakes waiting for us at the other counter.

Fruit Tart Smile Jul 12, 2013   (Related Review)

Fruit Tart.. RM8 per tray. Fresh cut fruits, chunky and big. Looks amazing and well composed. A must
try! Strawberry, mango, kiwi, blackberry were all very citrus-like flavoured. Personally, I love citrus so I guess that is why the fruit tart works. Highly recommended! (The fruits tarts sell out rather quickly, they do restock it but it will take some
time).
