Red Wine Pork Ribs Smile Dec 15, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

Restaurant Fong Yuan is a typical authentic and classic Chinese restaurant with many homely dishes as well as a couple of exquisite ones. This serves as a very suitable place for family casual dinner over the weekends. There are more than just a couple of signature dishes and this restaurant has already gotten so much good reviews local bloggers as well as reputable food critic from outside our country. The seafood in this restaurant is relatively fresh but is still subjected to the dish you ordered.

Red Wine Pork Ribs sells at RM 18 (small), RM 22 (medium), and RM 28 (large). The ribs were profoundly marinated while the sweetness of wine leads to the lip smacking coating evenly at the outer layer of the rib.

Fried vegetable Smile Dec 15, 2013   (Related Review)

This is a great place to dine when looking at a wide selection of dishes if one did not mind to dine with no air condition and in a semi open air restaurant. Taking a shop lot where the main entrance are wide open and the back of the shop lot as the kitchen, the place is considered well ventilated for pleasurably dining. It would be greater if there is some cooling fan if not air conditioner system, but the good food would be able to make up to this. The choices of fried vegetables depend very much on the availability the veges. These Chinese mustard green here is fried with salted fish.

Chinese cuisine offers extensive options, with good choices of beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and vegetable dishes for communal eating, as well as some noodles or rice based dishes for those eating solo. Most dinners usually comes as family or in a big group. The full glory of selection was exhilarating as they have almost everything from deep fried to steaming, and braising to stir frying. The yam ring is a versatile dish where we can order to fill the ring with many different dish. This time I pick the sweet and sour pork. The ratio of flour and yam compliments one another hence giving an amazing texture to the yam ring.

he best kid’s meal option is the chicken Mc Nuggets for the chicken Mc Nuggets in Mcdonalds are always consistently tasty. I love the crispy outer layer of tempura coating and the juicy chicken nuggets from within. The fries is of course always a bomb when it comes to good fries.

Kimchi Haru direct translates to English as the “kimchi everyday”. While most people think that only Koreans can eat Kimchi everyday due to their culture, the kimchi is actually very beneficial to people of any other natives as well. Kimchi is very rich with all the goodness and benefits to health. With the rich beneficial bacteria content in kimchi, this tasty fermented cabbage not only helps with the digestion but also rich in antioxidant. When cooking kimchi to make kimchi stew, this one here makes it decent and palatable.

The Kimchi Haru is located on the first floor in Subang Jaya SS 15 the wide window pane allows natural light in to the restaurant during the day and provides a great and calm view of street lights while dining during the night. The restaurant is really cossy with simple and warm interior which is pleasantly soothing for the mood to enjoy great food.
