Waffle @ Haagen Daz Smile Jun 29, 2013

When we talk about ice cream, there are a few ice cream shops in our mind.
However, which one of them can give you a real satisfaction?
Most of the ice cream dessert left a 65% satisfaction results because there are either too sweet nor too much to finish after dinner.

Haagen daz's menu has a better choice!

For this waffle, I have chosen milk choc, belgium choc, green tea and one yogurt favours. With the yogurt/ fruits fav ice cream blended up with the sweet yet addicting chocolates ice creams , chewing all with crispy waffles, the whole combination was GREAT! I don't feel too stuffy nor too sweet till boring while having the whole dessert on my own after a heavy dinner (took rice meal before that).

I am not a yong tau fu lover nor a 'carnivore' but I will not missed any chance to grab a bowl of noodles with yong tau fu soup when I go to Batu Pahat.

The noodle alone is not enough but when the minced meat was added and some vegetable into the noodles, the texture and the feeling when we chew it in our mouth is different. Not to forget about the chilli paste! Very tasty! For the yong tau fu, most of it are made by themselves and every time we visit that restaurant, i will request my mum to take the yong tau fu with bitter gourd and meat. It didn't tastes bitter but very nice to eat with the soup. Everything is just nice.

There are two branches for the Ah Hua Noodles Shop. However, there are just nearby each other. Main branch is at the corner under the tree, we need to line up on Sunday though. The other branch is behind the main shop.

For the price of the food, do not worry about spending much in batu pahat, it is the best town with delicious foods and reasonable price!

Iced chocolate OK Sep 29, 2013

Morning is best starts with an energitic/ awesome sip of iced chocolate or coffee. Since San Francisco Coffee cafe is just somewhere near to my office, I went and buy this to start of a beautiful Wednesday. I love how SF cafe has a thick thick chocolate, regardless of the iced or hot, it will still maintained the 'thickness' of the chocolate. Iced chocolate from here is thick and sweet.

Si Chuan Spicy Tofu OK Sep 29, 2013   (Related Review)

I LOVE SI CHUAN SPICY TOFU. This one is in pure vegetarian style, no minced pork meat is found from this dish. Really yummy to eat with rice. They prepare the sauce and everything form scratch and that even it is pure vegetarian, it tasted like the usual one with pork. It is a bit oily and salty. Not really spicy. Still up to the standard of how a ma po tofu should be. Overall ok.

Penne Arrabiatta_Pasta OK Sep 26, 2013

Was in The Curve on Sunday morning, thought of taking nice breakfast in The Apartment but too bad the breakfast wasn't ready on that morning, so the waiter suggested to order something from the normal menu. Ordered this Penne Arrabiatta Pasta that kept me full for the whole day. It was pasta cooked with tomatoes paste and some chilis , sprinkled with cheese flakes. Taste wise this is good but they can have more ingredients in the future rather than pure paste with tomatoes and chilli.
