Grilled fish lunch Smile Jun 29, 2013   (Related Review)

Lunch alone again in Ampang Park fish market.

Unlike the last fish and chips i had here, this grilled fish was more juicy and not so bored in chewing.

Fries were always yummy so let not talk so much of that.

Grilled fish / herbs grilled fish was rather good because it is not oily and very tasty in fact.
I can smell the garlic taste in the sauce on the grilled fish.

Be aware for those that do not eat garlic, kindly give them a remark to remove it or recommend other dish.

Every female has a sweet tooth for dessert , agree?

This time I had the waffle ice cream set with other favors of ice cream.
For the last time, I had ordered more chocs ,green tea and yogurt ice cream, this time I chose to go a tad bit of sour dessert more than sweetness.

The fruity ice cream doesn't fail me even chocolate favor ice cream is always on the top in my list.
The highlight this time was on the red and yellow ice cream which were strawberry and mango.
Overall, this is still worth taking after dinner, you will not feel so full after this set of dessert because the sourness in the ice cream balance up your taste bud and you don't feel bored of taking it.

I MISS MY DESSERT TIME.

Waffle @ Haagen Daz Smile Jun 29, 2013

When we talk about ice cream, there are a few ice cream shops in our mind.
However, which one of them can give you a real satisfaction?
Most of the ice cream dessert left a 65% satisfaction results because there are either too sweet nor too much to finish after dinner.

Haagen daz's menu has a better choice!

For this waffle, I have chosen milk choc, belgium choc, green tea and one yogurt favours. With the yogurt/ fruits fav ice cream blended up with the sweet yet addicting chocolates ice creams , chewing all with crispy waffles, the whole combination was GREAT! I don't feel too stuffy nor too sweet till boring while having the whole dessert on my own after a heavy dinner (took rice meal before that).

Sashimi @Kampachi Smile Jun 29, 2013

Kampachi has the best sashimi for now. Kampachi is somewhere near to my office and when i was craving for sashimi, no other choice except Kampachi. Don't tell me about other commercial japanese restaurant that offers not fresh sashimi yet expensive.

The price here is slightly expensive but worth a try. I don't mind spending on sashimi that are fresh and juicy!

Their salmon sashimi has a better texture in chewing, for fresh sashimi, we always look for those that has is chewy yet not too dry.

The first bite/ chew of sashimi must be the original without any sauce, then you will get to enjoy the 'freshness' and texture in your mouth.

In typing out this, i am actually asking my friend to go again tomorrow!!!!!!!!

This is definitely a place for sashimi.:ma lold:smiletonguetongue

I am not a yong tau fu lover nor a 'carnivore' but I will not missed any chance to grab a bowl of noodles with yong tau fu soup when I go to Batu Pahat.

The noodle alone is not enough but when the minced meat was added and some vegetable into the noodles, the texture and the feeling when we chew it in our mouth is different. Not to forget about the chilli paste! Very tasty! For the yong tau fu, most of it are made by themselves and every time we visit that restaurant, i will request my mum to take the yong tau fu with bitter gourd and meat. It didn't tastes bitter but very nice to eat with the soup. Everything is just nice.

There are two branches for the Ah Hua Noodles Shop. However, there are just nearby each other. Main branch is at the corner under the tree, we need to line up on Sunday though. The other branch is behind the main shop.

For the price of the food, do not worry about spending much in batu pahat, it is the best town with delicious foods and reasonable price!
