Tenggiri is not my favorite fish but I do enjoy them casually. Being told that their fried tenggiri is good, I decided to have one as well. The tenggiri was very fresh and fried to the right crispiness without jeopardizing the texture of the meat. The tenggiri fish was very soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside. You could have it with lime juice or not. For me I love it with lime as it helped to spice up the flavor.

This was the best dim sum we had in Royal China during the last visit. When compared to other places, it is not the best still. Good thing about it was the soft and fluffy bun which provided a good base for the gravy to soak into as well as on the tough. The char siew fillings was flavourful too. However it could be better by filling up with more char siew and make the filling juicier. Most importantly, serve it when it is steaming hot!

Usually people think vegetarian dish is dull but as far as glutinous rice could be, I think this vegetarian glutinous rice was very flavorful. I like glutinous rice to be not too soft and perhaps a little hard. This glutinous rice was the exact texture I like it to be. The flavor was savory and peppery, which I found it easier to finish it. The use of lotus leave gave it a very aromatic fragrance as you dig into it. Good one!

The best lao sa pao is in Jin Xuan. I fell in love the first time I had it here with my colleagues. I love the fact it leaks when you break it. The bun was very fluffy and soaked with the salted egg and custard cream in it. The salted egg and custard was very dense which made it felt good on your tongue due to the essence of salted egg.The staple dim sum was not too bad. Good that they served it while it was steaming hot. The last I had in Kuchai Lama's branch, it was terrible beyond imagination!

Frankly speaking, I still find myself unable to accept olives. I could eat alittle but not much. The first time I tried it, I disliked it due to the domination of olives. However, I gave it another try and found that I kind of liked it. The vegetable was very fresh and tossed well with their own homemade sauce. No off the rack mayonnaise, hooray! Perhaps what was lacking was some nuts in it, giving it some nutty aroma and crunchy texture.
