TomYam at Q Bistro Smile Apr 09, 2013
Categories : Malay | Restaurant | Mixed rice

The restaurant decoration is quite classy for a mamak bistro. The price (and recently there is a service tax too) is also a bit higher than ordinary mamak restaurant or stall. Probably because we pay for the upgraded status as well. The food menu is just like other mamak restaurant - naan bread, roti canai, tomyam, western (chicken grilled, fries) but what I found best here is their tomyam putih The soup is great, I can even finish it in one slurp. The ingredient is including chicken, prawn, squid and (no surprise here) a lot of big onions and serai and daun limau purut. The price (like I said ealier) is twice the price of the the same tomyam at other mamak stall, RM8.

Mee Bandung of Warung Santai Smile Apr 09, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Malay | Restaurant | Seafood | Noodles

This warung is always packed with people especially during lunch hour. Being in a shopping complex and served stall-concept shop, this would be the main attraction of Warung Santai. As for the food, I think Mee Bandung here is the best mee bandung I had ever tasted in my entire life ( sound a bit exaggerate, am I tongue ). But its true. The gravy (or the kuah) is thick and full of flavor. Thats not yet to mention the load of chicken slices, prawn and squid inside it. Sometimes I even think the portion of the mee and the ingredient (prawn, squid, egg) is the same (again exaggerate..lol..sorry) So satisfying and the price is reasonable too, only Rm7.90

Ikan Bakar Umbai Smile Apr 08, 2013
Categories : Malay | Food court | Seafood

Macam kami, biasanya memang favourite ikan siakap masak pedas. Tapi since nama kedainya ikan bakar, maka orderlah sekali ikan siakap bakar. Harga ikan siakap masak pedas RM20, ikan siakap bakar RM20, memang berbaloi.

Asam Pedas Claypot Kota Laksamana Smile Apr 08, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook

Coconut shake Klebang Smile Apr 08, 2013
Categories : Malay | Stall / Warung

Coconut shake Klebang memang dah lama menjadi sebutan kawan-kawan.

Recommended Dish(es):  coconut shake with ice cream

Spending per head: Approximately RM2
