A & W  Smile Jun 24, 2012

A & W has always been one of my favourites since I was young.

The double mozza burger is expensive (RM10 ala carte!) but has sizable portion of double beef burger patties, and a piece of beef bacon. I like it because it's just nice for me to savour portion wise, while I enjoy the juicy beef well marinated with a hint of pickle and cheese.

A& W rootbeer float is also everyone's favourite. Love the fizzy root beer with the creamy vanilla ice cream. Yums smile

Ikea Meat balls Smile Jun 23, 2012

Ikea is very famous for their meatballs. If got a chance, all should try it.

The dish is nice and tasty. The meatball is succulent and big enough the portion, and it isn't rubbery. The gravy is sweet and tasty, and definitely complements the meatballs The french fries is a good filler, well cut and fried, goes well with the dishes. Not too oily.

Cute miniature cakes aka desserts Smile Jun 23, 2012

I love fullhouse Desserts. They may be small but they are really tasty.

As you can see, they come in various shapes and sizes. I love the little cakes, they are sweet, not too much icing, although they are so good they disappear in just 1 mouthful!

If you try their little tarts you wont be disappointed too. Their tarts are fresh , and there is no "margarine" cheap taste like the cheap or poor quality ones. Their fruit content and paste is lovely, its like tasting the real fruit.

Lunch at Papa John's OK Jun 17, 2012

Papa John's is in the IOI new wing, and just like Pizza Hut, it also has lunch deals from RM9.90.

Part of the family set. Pizza for 6 people (the pizza is a tad small at 9 inches...)

Tasty though, but not enough to fill the tummy...

Various colourful sauces and condiments...

Breadstick. Equal to Pizza Hut's version.

Good place to eat, but I reckon Pizza Hut is still the more economical and tasty + more variety choice.

Indian food with little fanfare OK Jun 09, 2012

Categories : Malay | Restaurant | Seafood | Burgers / Sandwiches

There's this little place tucked inside the Scott Garden Mall( which is amazing to look at but seriously messy to find the way around) called De Chennai Cafe. The place is just like your average school canteen, and is hidden behind some bigger shops. I actually walked for 1 hour or more before finding the place! you can imagine how upset I was.

However, the owner cum the chef was really nice. Food is respectable too, if I may say so.

"Manggo lassi". Sweet, but it tasted more like mango juice than lassi. Nontheless for a sweet tooth like me, I'll take it still tongue

Briyani Mutton. The plate was not your usual big restaurant's "big plate small portion" business. The mutton portion was generous, and not too spicy, which was a big bonus for me as well.

If you're a sweet tooth you should try their deserts as well, which is supposedly made by real Indian chefs from India. I tried their cake that tasted like kuih but much sweeter (not sure of the name).

Not too bad, but unless they come up with promotions, probably won't go back anytime soon. The parking is a big issue at the mall after all. ;)
