You must heard of people fried koay teow until need to wear goggles in penang. Yea, that's right. The aunty here wear a goggles to fried koay teow due to overwhelming char koay teow order. If she didn't wear goggles, I can't imagine what happen to her eyes. Must be well oily. Eating at here train your patience and manners. You need to be good to the aunty and wait patiently. Else you will get scolded by the aunty and she doesn't mind if you leave. For me, I look at the face of char koay teow and few big prawns, i stay. The char koay teow is sweet and nice. The prawns are fresh which I quite like it.

Sometimes when just want to eat some finger food, something crispy I will just come over here. You can see lots of chicken parts here. Of all, I love the chicken skin the most. Because you don't need to eat too much until full. But at the same time you get to eat lots of crispy chicken skin. Their chicken skin is fry till golden brown colour. Then I always eat the chicken skin together with chilli sauce.

I like to eat escargot a lot. They are covered by the heavy cheese and some garlic. Then the escargot taste like chicken or cockles. After they are fully cooked and covered, the taste is actually total different and they are actually one of the best food you can have. You can eat the sauce with garlic bread too. I always order 1 dozens to share with friends so that we don't need to fight for it

Fried rice Smile Jan 03, 2013

To get a good fried rice, they said the rice must be dry enough, so it won't stick together when you fried them. Yet it must not be too dry until when you eat it, you feel very thirsty. Luckily this restaurant serve the right fried rice to me. When you look at the rice, the egg is stick with almost all the rice. The egg fragrance of fried rice immediately flow into your nose. It is not that oily. I like the portion here. The portion is quite generous here.

Talking about Nasi Kandar, you can see this has the longest queue of nasi kandar in penang. Evening during afternoon stand under the hot sun. You can still see many people holding umbrella queuing up for it. That already explain how tasty the nasi kandar is. There are more than 20 varieties of dishes there. The crab and fish are too expensive for me. Therefore I always just take their fried chicken. Their curry here is simply awesome.
