After visiting a orang alsi village in Pulau Carey, my friends and I decided to have lunch here since we passed by it just now.

We ordered a few dishes, and all the dishes came quite fast as it wasn't the restaurant's peak hour yet. Among all the dishes that we have ordered, my two favourite dishes are the butter cream squid and the steam clam. Both of them tasted extraordinary.

The butter cream squid was very creamy and rich with butter. It smelled very good too! I managed to finish a bowl of rice, just by eating with the sauce of this dish.

As for the steam clam, the clam were so big! I have never since such huge and fresh clams in my life before. The soup accompanied with this dish was also quite tasty, my friend literally drank all the soup because he likes the taste very much.

Although this restaurant is quite far from where I stay, but I'm sure I'll come back and dine here in the future.

Deep Fried Chicken Katsu Smile May 28, 2016

It's been a while since I had a meal here. Today, I brought a friend here to have lunch with me, and we both ordered Deep Fried Chicken Katsu Don, which cost RM 6.90 per bowl. I was shocked when I saw the price because I remembered clearly that it only cost RM 5.90 per bowl previously, and it was known as the cheapest meal in Sunway Pyramid then. But now, I doubt it is still retaining its title.

Anyway, the taste of the food is still yummy. Besides, after eating the food, I feel that the rise in price was also quite reasonable! This is beacuse, previously, they did not give us an enitre egg in our food. They only gave probably, a quarter of the egg? Now, they gave a complete egg.

Lil Cheezy Wrap Smile May 17, 2016

Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Burgers / Sandwiches | Halal

I have always been a fan of wraps and was thrilled to find out that KFC is offering a new wrap in their menu - Lil' Cheezy Wrap [RM 3.50].

What makes this wrap so special and different from the wraps offered in Texas Chicken is that they have cheesy sauce in it!  smile  and being a cheesy sauce fan too, I strongly believed that this two is a great combination.

However, there is a minor drawback; we can't choose the flavour of the chicken tender in the wrap, i.e spicy or original. Also, the portion for this wrap is quite small but I consider it reasonable as it is quite addordable. Hence, I believe this wrap would be a good option for tea time snack.

Coconut Ice Cream Smile May 17, 2016

Categories : Thai | Stall / Warung | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato

Recently, I was told that my favourite coconut ice cream joint has a branch nearby my house. So, I decided to pay a visit there and grab a scoop of it.

The place wasn't that hard to find, and there were quite a number of parking spots there, which is great! Besides, unlike the other Sangkaya branches that I have been to, this was rather quiet which makes it a great place to have a catch up session with friends or just chill out a bit.

I ordered the coconut ice cream cone for RM3.10 and spingkled some roasted coconut flakes on it. The portion of the ice cream was quite small but it did do a good job in satisfying my cravings.

Back, again! OK May 17, 2016   (Related Review)

Devil Chicken Chop. Evil combination indeed, pineapple with melted cheese, such a delicious combination RM 25.90. However, I preferred the Black Pepper sauce I had previously. This was BBQ sauce, which I find it ordinary, not as unique as the black pepper sauce with raisins.

Fish and Chips RM 21.90. Nothing that fascinating as its a traditional fish and chips which consist of deep fried dory fillet and french fries. Tartar sauce was given too.

Crispy Popcorn Chicken RM10.90 as appetiser. The portion given wasn't worth the price. The sauces given along with this appetiser was Cheese Sauce and the exact same BBQ sauce as the Devil Chicken.
