Located near the entrance of WestCity, Kampar, the cafe is a new chill out spot for students, particualrly.

Apart from its relaxed ambience, dart games are available at the corner.

There are quite a variety of desserts to choose from, so bring a friend or two so you could order few flavours to try altogether.

The food is tasty albeit a bit pricey for the portion given. I ordered chicken chop and would recommend the black pepper flavor as the sauce is really good.

The parfait is basically yogurt with fruits (strawberry and black grapes). I'd say it's more like an appetizer rather than dessert because it's a bit sour.

Ice blended Coffee Smile Jul 27, 2015
Categories : Chinese | Food court

Stall 25 in Kampar market foodcourt is well-known for its ice blended coffee - another must-try after the famous Kampar chicken curry bread.

The blended ice is definitely up to other ice-blended kiosk standard as the amount of coffee and milk is very generous for just RM4.

However, if you are there during the weekends, your precious glass of ice-blended coffee may take a while to arrive as there will be lots of people.

On a side note, if you are not a big eater (or drinker), please get someone to share the drink with you as it is really huge in portion. madmadmad

Chinese Fried snacks OK Jul 26, 2015   (Related Review)

Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam

Originated from Melaka, this uncle has been selling Chinese fried snacks for the past few months - all snacks at RM0.80/piece.

I like the fact that he does not recycle used cooking oil.

I only ordered the ham chim peng because I am a big fan!

The filling however is not very generous and have told the uncle. sicksicksicksicksick
Hope he puts more filling the next time!

Shredded Chicken & Mushroom Mee  Smile Jul 26, 2015

The best wantan mee ever in Ipoh. The stall has been in operation since 1993 - that's 22 years! This stall serves my all time favorite wantan mee and it is a must-have every single time I return to Ipoh.

Here's the aunty making the noodles! She is a very friendly woman with a great memory - she has the ability of taking down many many orders without writing it down.

The menu:
Pork meat wantan mee@RM3.30
Prawn meat wantan mee@RM3.80
Dumpling wantan mee@RM4.50

Generous amount of noodle and chicken meat. I really, really love the gravy. flowerflowerflowerflowerflower

Egg Tarts and Chicken Pie OK Jul 25, 2015
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam | Sweets/Snack

It's only 8.15 and you can see a very long queue in front of this shop.

What's got these people queueing is but egg tarts, chicken pie and sak kei ma (a type of egg biscuit). What seems like a tourist spot, the confectionary shop has been around since about 30 years ago, hence most of the people queueing up is from outstation. On the menu:
Egg tart@RM1.50
Cake@RM1.50
Coconut tart@RM1.50
Chicken pie@RM1.50
Sak Kei Ma@RM6.00
Hup toh soh@RM6.00

I personally think that the chicken pie and egg tarts are just overrated.

One thing is because the biscuit is too thick and the filling is not very generous.
