The most famous place for tau fu fah in Ipoh lies in the alley at the Panglima lane. Everything is self-service due to not enough manpower and the huge crowd that is always waiting in line.Clockwise from top to bottom: teow chew tau fu fah, sea bird nest tau fu fah, bottled soy milk, sea bird nest soy milk, and tau fu fah in ginger syrup. 

Despite the place being situated in a happening tourist spot, the price of the tau fu fah is reasonable. The tau fu fah is very soft and melt in your mouth. 

I recommend the teow chew tau fu fah. The aroma of brown sugar fills your mouth with every spoon.

During the weekends, the place will be crowded as Panglima lane also known as concubine lane in Ipoh is a very famous local attraction with its decades of heritage.

As lunch hour draws in, the restaurant will be crowded and its limited seats adds to never-ending crowds waiting in line till late afternoon.

The price of the food is reasonable and the taste is good.

The fried rice is very yummy and there are lots of prawns. Obviously you have to order the tomyam soup when dining in a Thai restaurant. The soup is so appetising you get addicted to it instantly.

Overall good food but a bit pricey. 

The lala soup base is the chinese herb soup and it warms your body.Out of my expectations, the taufu salad was not literally taufu and salad. It is something like deep fried fish cake and it is yummy. The fried rice was recommended by the waiter. The taste is not too bad but it has nothing really special, just the normal fried rice. Their chili crab is the signature dish and the is priced at RM50 for 1 cati. The minimum order is 2 cati. The crab size is smaller if compared to the ones at Jalan Alor.

Ambience is romantic and calm as it is located just beside the lakeside. 

This is a must-eat here. The fish is very fresh and grilled to perfection. 

Though grilled, the fish meat is still juicy as ever, which fell short of my expectations of it being dry. Just the fish itself has already got your senses going and to top that up the sauce makes it even more heavenly. 

It's at a reasonable price at RM33. 

The waiting time is a bit long because there are usually many customers and the fish takes some time to grill. But trust me, it's worth the wait and price)
