Portuguese Grill Fish Smile Jan 17, 2016

The stall only operates at evening hours. You can choose from a variety of seafood such as lala clams, sotong, sting ray fish. You can also choose your portion of big or small - the big portion is not much different than the small though.

We ordered the sting ray and sotong at big portion for RM20. It is quite spicy but overall the it tasted good.

The restaurant is always packed with customers most of the time. The place is congested especially during lunch hours that sometimes you will have to wait for the earlier customers to finish their food so you can get a nice decent seat for yourself. Hence, if you are planning to eat at the place, remember to go earlier.

For the roast duck or chicken, 1/4 of it should be enough if you plan to order a second dish. We ordered 2 dishes for 4 people and it was just enough. The total of the two dishes costed RM40, and rice is at RM1.50 per plate.

The taste overall is good but is expensive for the portion.

As the name suggests, this bowl of noodles is indeed huge, all for RM7.

The highlight of this prawn noodle is definitely the broth! You can taste the sweetness of the soup itself and you will want to slurp every single bit of the soup, no kidding, this could be on par with the famous Penang prawn noodles!

Bacon and Pork Patty Burger OK Apr 25, 2016
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Burgers / Sandwiches

For pork lovers, the aromatic burger will make you salivate at the sight (and smell) of it. Inside the burger is bacon, onions and pork patty covered in melted cheese. Although the pork patty is not well-seasoned, the bacon is heavily-flavored to create a balance.

Price is very expensive and there is 6% GST.

Seafood Treat OK Mar 21, 2016

The lala soup base is the chinese herb soup and it warms your body.

Out of my expectations, the taufu salad was not literally taufu and salad. It is something like deep fried fish cake and it is yummy.

The fried rice was recommended by the waiter. The taste is not too bad but it has nothing really special, just the normal fried rice.

Their chili crab is the signature dish and the is priced at RM50 for 1 cati. The minimum order is 2 cati. The crab size is smaller if compared to the ones at Jalan Alor.

Ambience is romantic and calm as it is located just beside the lakeside. heartheartheartheartheart
