The most famous place for tau fu fah in Ipoh lies in the alley at the Panglima lane. Everything is self-service due to not enough manpower and the huge crowd that is always waiting in line.

Clockwise from top to bottom: teow chew tau fu fah, sea bird nest tau fu fah, bottled soy milk, sea bird nest soy milk, and tau fu fah in ginger syrup.

Despite the place being situated in a happening tourist spot, the price of the tau fu fah is reasonable. The tau fu fah is very soft and melt in your mouth.

I recommend the teow chew tau fu fah. The aroma of brown sugar fills your mouth with every spoon.

Chicken Porridge at Sweetree Smile Aug 27, 2015

For rainy days, this bowl of porridge serves well!

Served along with deep fried anchovies, chicken meat and seaweed (and some soy sauce), the warm porridge will leave you with a sense of satisfaction, particularly on rainy days.
The ambience is nice and there is a language/culture learning centre on the first floor of the restaurant too. Hence, you might wanna visit this place if you are keen to learn some Korean culture.

Greenhouse by Muir needs no introduction, does it? The unique concept of the restaurant has attracted many to dine-in for tea. If you're an environment enthusiast craving for some dessert, check this place out.

The looks of all the cakes/desserts are just mouth-watering.

The tiramisu dessert in a cup will really melt your heart. heartheartheartheartheart

However it may be a little pricey because it costs RM8.48.

Ice Blended Red Bean  Smile Jul 27, 2015

Fancy a smooth and thick ice-blended red bean?

Near the Sungai Petani bus terminal is a stall that serves pure, concentrated red bean, ice blended, topped with milo powder.

In a hot weather, this is just perfect to cool down the senses. Unlike other ice-blended drinks, this red bean drink is so concentrated and creamy it's more like a smoothie.

Better than ais-kacang, it costs only RM1.80.

The lady is also very friendly.

This garlic seaweed fried rice is topped with salmon roe and Japanese seaweed.

It smells really good and the taste is not anything less than premium quality. yummyyummyyummy The amount of rice is generous too.

You can find this fried rice at Pat Kin Pat Sun at a promotion price of RM7.80 (original cost @RM12.60), What’s more, you get discounts if you apply for membership.

However due to the amount of people dining in, the waiting time could be a little long.
