Big Prawn Sha Hor Fun Smile Jan 23, 2016   (Related Review)

You may find many people seated at the hor fun stall in Petaling Street during the night for the big prawn hor fun noodles. The cook is very friendly and nice to talk to and has been around that area selling noodles for quite a long time.

The soup tastes great and the prawns are served in generous amounts.  One bowl costs RM7, which is actually not expensive considering the quality and quantity.

Big Prawn Wan Tan Mee Smile Jan 22, 2016

Known for it's Chinese local delicacy, Petaling Street houses a stall that sells prawn wantan noodles.

You'll be surprised how huge the prawns are and it all costs for only RM7.

The noodle is of fine texture but you can taste the alkaline lye water which I personally feel that it is the only flaw.

All in all, the noodle is worth the price.

The stall only operates at evening hours. You can choose from a variety of seafood such as lala clams, sotong, sting ray fish. You can also choose your portion of big or small - the big portion is not much different than the small though.

We ordered the sting ray and sotong at big portion for RM20. It is quite spicy but overall the it tasted good.

Lee Wah Kee Chicken Rice Smile Aug 29, 2015

One thing I like about this shop is the generosity. The amount of chicken meat given is just great! It’s really, really worth it for the price of RM5 (for breast meat).

The chicken meat is chopped in huge long chunks and the meat is really, really succulent.
The shop provides the usual blended chili paste and an additional blended ginger paste – which goes along pretty well with the chicken meat.

Ice-Blended Coconut Milk Shake Smile Aug 27, 2015

Have been craving for ice-blended coconut milk shake and couldn’t have waited longer for the night market in Pandan Cahaya!

Here, the coconut milk shake is sold in 3 different cup sizes – small, medium & large.

Here’s the guy making the coconut milk shake.
Basically he blends fresh coconut and milk and top it with vanilla ice-cream.
The aroma of the drink is just so coconut-ish.
