Philtre Coffee is located in the popular Damansara Uptown area and is strategically placed just right off the LDP . Parking during work hours is definitely a problem , but come evenings and weekends , There is also the added basement parking that’s now available in Damansara Uptown to provide extra parking bays .

 

Philtre Coffee gets its name from the filtered coffees that they serve here . Filtered coffee , as Wikipedia explains it , is a method of brewing coffee which involves pouring water over roasted , ground coffee beans contained in a filter , creating the beverage called coffee . It is also called drip brewing or pour-over . But don’t worry , Philtre Coffee has milked coffees too if you must have them . Today I had the chance to witness how Cold brew been created , From the top with Ice cube melt into ice water then drip over roasted grind coffee powder for 7 hours of melting ice resulting in 3L of intense-flavored cold brew coffee .

 

 

 

 

Philtre Coffee is probably one of the more different looking cafe event spaces in the Klang Valley. Eschewing the hipster look so favoured by many of the third wave cafes, Philtre Coffee adopts a reused natural look, almost like a wood cabin mixed. And there’s an industrial element to it as well. This is an event space that’s suitable for a birthday party , meet up and gatherings with friends .

 

Philtre means ''love potion'' in French . The entire café was built using materials from torn down decades-old traditional wooden houses and discarded pallet wood collected from the ports . The food and desserts incorporate familiar South-East Asian spices , herbs and fruits , with a great big twist . Today The foods and stories of Philtre Coffee is been host by Victor - The owner of Philtre Coffee , A friendly Guy that Mind to share all of his story to me . It should come as no surprise that the two busiest days of the year for restaurants are Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day . But do you know what comes in third on the list?
It’s Father’s Day .

Restaurants across Klang Valley are offering Father’s Day specials to celebrate dads day in any area . Here are some of the specials menu from D'italiane for this coming Fathers day .

 

 


Today , I been proudly invited by D'italiane to try out their all new launch fathers day menu , I will tell about the foods later but now what I gonna start about the environment and Service of D'italiane that located in Paradigm Mall . The shop located at Ground floor outdoor courtyard of the mall .

 

 


The whole seated place are nicely arranged with choices of sofa , high chairs , cushion stools and others to provide more options for dinners . There are indoor and outdoor dining , the ambiance with dimmed lighting and wooden furniture makes me comfy and relaxing . D'italiane served fine dining Italian cuisine from Pizza to Pasta and Grills and the staff here was really friendly to serve us , D'italiane also have three outlet in Klang Valley at the moment that recently located at Paradigm Mall , Jaya 33 and Sunway Giza .

SIGNATURE @ THE ROOF PRESENTS THE PURE AND INDULGENT FLORAL FLAVOURS OF PERRIER-JOUËT

With the Paired from two variations of Perrier-Jouët , Signature @ The Roof collaborated with renowned champagne brand Perrier-Jouёt has launch with their all new menu , inviting fellow gourmands to an intimate champagne dinner in the sky . By making the night more happening , Signature and Perrier-Jouët hosted an intimate champagne pairing dinner for us to preview how the floral and fruity flavours of the cuvees brings out the best for the restaurant’s latest menu . For the evening , the usually trendy and premium gastro-lounge , was transformed into a botanical wonderland reflecting the natural inspirations of the champagne maker .




The introductory champagne - The Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut has a pale and sparkling yellow robe, which is suggestive of vivacity and carries notes of cherry plum, lemon and bergamot orange which emerge first on the palette, then make way for the flowerful flavours of fruit trees, such as lime and honeysuckle. These are followed by notes of butter, madeleine cakes and vanilla sugar. Lingering notes of grapefruit, white peaches, green pears, apple trees and green hazelnuts round off the taste.

Whereas the dessert champagne - The Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé, features a wonderfully juicy blend of blackcurrant buds, pear, apricots and cherry plum that emerge first, only to give way to the fragrances of blackcurrant and blood oranges, followed by notes of crème de cassis, raspberry, honeysuckle and roses, culminating in lime, blackberries, and Morello cherries.



Petaling Jaya , 7th June 2017 - With a great pleasure i'm been invited to witness the collaboration between Perrier-Jouët and Signature @ The Roof for the new menu champagne pairing features three course menu starters like oyster shooters , garlic prawns , otak-otak dumplings , mushroom salad and Signature’s favourite mushroom soup . The main course includes flying tandoori chicken pasta , lamb rack , chicken rice ball and barramundi . Finally , for the sweet dessert selection , included chocolate brownies , red velvet , and lychee cheese tart . The incredible freshness of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut will pair perfectly with fish and seafood dishes while its marvelous florality will enhance the perfumes of the main courses. The sweet delicacies served for dessert will find an alter-ego in the intense fruitiness of Blason Rosé .

After that the waiters came back to the table and double checked for the doneness of the meat by opening up the lid and close it back on .
