yummy noodles... OK Aug 08, 2014

Great place to find good hokkien mee in PJ. Cooked with charcoal burners and great wok hei. They get packed during dinner time but service is fast so turnaround is quick. They also have good pork soup and fish head noodle soup.
Within the restaurant itself there are other stalls serving up good satay, nasi lemak, grill fish and lobak. Nothing to shout about but still tasty.

overrated briyani place... Cry Aug 08, 2014

This place is highly overrated. Their briyani is just so so and it doesn't come cheap. There are so many better briyani joints out there. The outlet itself is clean and service is good but sadly food is of poor quality and taste. Not saying they are bad but average at best.

great south indian food... Smile Aug 08, 2014

Great place for any time of the day. Usually am here for breakfast as I love their idli, tosai, puri, capati or roti canai. Especially with the accompanying chicken curry. Heard their lunch time mix rice is good but have yet to try it.
Food is always of consistent taste and quality. Service is prompt and friendly. Location is clean, airy and you have a choice of AC or non AC seating. Value wise they are reasonably priced. Highly recommended for those craving for Indian cuisine.

This is the home of the famous Robert's char kway teow (ckt). Majority of the customers are for him and during lunch or dinner except a long wait. However its well worth it. He remembers his customers and always makes as ordered. Unlike most places he won't make a fuss if you have any preferences. Quality and taste has not changed in the last 10 years I have been frequenting his stall.
Besides ckt the economy mix rice stall is also famous during lunch time especially with the students who live nearby. Then we have the fried rice stall which is open for lunch and dinner. You can also find popiah, laksa, curry mee, prawn mee and kway teow soup here. Lots of varieties and all of good quality and taste.
In terms of environment this is a typical Chinese kopitiam. It can get noisy and stuffy. It is clean but not spotless. Expect greasy floors. Definitely will recommend this place for a meal.

best roti canai out there! Smile Aug 08, 2014

This place has the best roti canai in Malaysia. Nothing beats their original plain roti canai which is think, crispy, flaky & light. Goes great with the dhal & sambal on the side. If you prefer variety than their other rotis like cheese, egg, kaya, banana or valentine (sardine, diced onions & carrots) will not disappoint. Whatever the filling the roti remains light & crispy.
If roti isn't your thing they also make a mean maggi goreng & sup kambing. Heard they also have good nasi lemak but it seems to be sold out every time I'm there. To wash it all down don't forget to try their frothy & smooth teh tarik.
The restaurant is an unassuming stall by the road side but the quality is beyond that. Don't worry it is clean & comfortable. Service is friendly & attentive. Decently priced to boot. Not to be missed!
