Malaysia isn't like any other country where you only get to eat steamboat during cold weather. At here we eat it anytime we want, especially during rainy days. Because the weather is cold outside so better to get my tummy warm. Ordered this tom yam soup instead, they have clear soup and miso. But I want something spicy and hot. So tomyam is the best choice. Their tomyam soup here is sourish with a very strong tomyam paste smell. It is not spicy at all.

eat wine chicken Smile Jul 31, 2012

Every night when you pass by old klang road, you can see there's always a huge crowd underneath the overhead bridge. What's so famous about here until all the cars park around or even park till the next door to walk here.

I ordered one of their famous dish. The yellow wine chicken. This yellow wine chicken is served in claypot. When it is served, you need to be careful because the pot and the soup is boiling hot. When you taste it, you can feel the very strong alcohol taste. The chicken is quite smooth too.

La mian is one of ding tai fung's signature dish. Before ou enter this restaurant, you can actually see few chefs are busy in the kitchen pulling the noodle. They have an open kitchen concept to let people observe the making process. You can see how the chef pull until the flour become noodle.

The noodle here is very springy. They feel very thick too. You can add in some chinese chilli oil to the noodle to have the very spicy taste. Remember to mix them well.

eat shabu shabu Smile Jul 31, 2012

One of the best thing of eating shabu shabu is you don't really need to have a very good cooking skill. You just need to decide what you going to throw into your soup pot and let it boil for some time and then everything is ready to be eaten. The clear soup here is quite sweet. If you want more taste, you can throw in more pork and let them cook or just add in soya sauce for the quickest way. The ingredients here are quite fresh I would say.

One of the dumpling that I always crave to eat is the xiao long bao. This chinese dumpling is very unique. The dumpling inside has soup and meat, yet the soup won't flow out from the dumpling. Of course you need to eat it hot before it turns cold. Yet be careful not to burn your tongue. The soup inside is very sweet. You pick it up gently without spoiling the skin Then take the first bite and drink the soup.
