eat satay Smile Jul 31, 2012

One of the most famous Malay food no doubt is satay. A good satay must be very juicy and fat. But then when come to the satay here. It disappoint me a bit. The satay here is thin and dry. The meat isn't juicy at all. You need to bite it very hard only you are able to chew off the satay. The satay peanut sauce here still acceptable. The peanut fragrance is still there and it is not spicy or water at all.

Chicken wing is one of the most famous finger food to eat during night time. When you go yum cha with friends, sometimes you just want to have something to bite on then the chicken wing is one of the best food. The chicken wing here has a very crispy chicken skin. The meat is very soft and tender. Then the meat is very juicy too. Since the meat is very tasty, it is up to you whether to dip the chilli sauce to eat it or not.

eat koay teow Smile Jul 31, 2012

Sometimes one dish which look very simple, it can contain a very complex taste. Take this chicken noodle as example. It just look simply you put on Koay Teow then shredded chicken then some garlic and sprinkle some spring onion on top. Later pour in some sauce. Voila there comes your chicken noodle.

In fact it is not. This dish look very simple yes. But then the noodle is so smooth. Same thing goes to the chicken. The chicken meat is so tender until it almost can melt in your mouth. The little bit salty koay teow is taste so great. The portion itself is so big.

eat char koay teow Smile Jul 31, 2012

Char koay teow is one of the common food you can find it here. I like to eat char koay teow because the taste is so complex. The char koay teow here is sweet because of the soy sauce they put during the frying process. The bean sprout must put it at the end of the process. If you put it too early, the bean sprout will turn out quite soggy. The right timing will make the bean sprout ver crunchy to eat. This whole plate of char koay teow has a lot of cockles. The prawn is very sweet too. I quite enjoy eating here.

I like to drink soup. Too bad city girl like me hardly have any chance to drink home cook soup. So when there is chance for me to order soup in any chinese restaurant. I will just order. This old cucumber soup is quite salty. They put too much of dried squid into it. The purpose of drinking soup is to kill of my thirsty but this soup doesn't serve that kind of purpose. It is a bit disappointed this time.
