I went to Restoran Kuala Lipis Noodles to have some nice, simple and cheap meal in the weekend. I heard from my friend that the noodle here was without alkaline and home cooked. So, I proceed to order one and try it out.

After waiting for 10 minutes, the noodle come. I found that the noodle was quite thick than usual and looks like ramen. The minced meat was very generous though. After mix it all with minced chicken, I found that it do taste very nice and not too hard! Yummy!

Rabbit Stew OK Apr 09, 2013   (Related Review)

We went to Bistro a Table around Petaling Jaya again. This time, my friends wants to be a little extreme. So he proceed to order rabbit stew which is very extraordinary for me as I never have a rabbit meat before.

The rabbit meat was cooked in wine which not too soft in texture making it very chewy when eating it. The potatoes that comes with this meal was cooked with duck fat which is very delicious. I feel sorry for the rabbit though.

We are having a deliciously good time at Bistro a Table and we are coming back again for more gastronomic moment! We ordered New Zealand King Salmon which doesn't come cheap at RM 58 per plate.

This meal was very special as the salmon was wrapped in baking paper ala- curry puff shape. The waiter cut open it for us and pour a small pan of champagne on it and sprinkled a spoonful of herbs on top of it. The smell was so addictive and the taste was very good too! We shall order this again on our next visit!

After some good starter at Bistro à Table, we proceed to order a plate of Truffle mash. Yeah, it is the same as mash potatoes but only with some truffle in it. The truffle mash turns out to be very delicious! The mash was very smooth with some truffle oil lingering around your mouth every time you have a mouthful of it. The cream inside the mash is really compliment the truffle well and we finish this meal within minutes it arrived. Yummy!

Baked escargot in horny goat weed OK Apr 09, 2013

I went to Bistro a Table located around Petaling Jaya area to have some dinner. I love the way the restaurant is cosy enough for us to have a nice good dinner. As a starter, I proceed to order Baked escargot in horny goat weed. The name sounds funny and that's the reason I choose it!

This dish came in 3 mini size pie with 3 pieces of baguette. The escargot was firm in texture and the weed (herb) was very light and all I can taste was a hint of saltiness of the pie. Prefer if it is more fragrant.
