Farni's Nasi Kukus Smile Oct 11, 2012
Categories : Malay | Stall / Warung

This famous Nasi Kukus stall is located in front of the Pondok Polis Bukit Damansara nearby Plaza Damansara. The stall open on weekdays from 12pm till finish. They even have catering service.

The deep fried chicken was tender and moist. The chicken skin was crispy and delicious. The rice was fluffy and nice. Adding the curry on to the rice makes it more appetizing. This dish is worth trying.

Price: RM5.00

Kaya Butter Toast and Kopi Smile Oct 10, 2012

Kaya Butter Toast in one of my favourite food in Old Town White Coffee. The bread is very crispy. The kaya is very aromatic and not sweet, it is just nice. The butter is very tasty and silky smooth but wish they can put more butter. They just put two strips of butter one each toast. Try to eat it when it is hot, if you put longer the bread will turn soft.

I have ordered Kopi to go with roti bakar. It is a perfect blend.

Unagi Kabayaki Smile Oct 10, 2012

Went to Munakata to celebrate friend's brithday. It is a Japanese buffet. It cost RM70++ per person. The environment is cozy and the interior design is in japanese style. Not many people dine-in here. The unagi Kabayaki is one of the dish I have taken. It is grilled eel coated with sweet soya sauce. The unagi does not have fishy taste, it is very fresh and delicious. The restaurant does not have much variety of foods.

Customised birthday cake Smile Oct 10, 2012

I told my mom I wish to customize my cake on my birthday. So, finally my wish come true. My mom bought this pinky sheep from Pastry Culture. The cake flavour that she chose was Scotch Whiskey. The design is very cute and nice. It uses dark chocolate for the eyes and white chocolate for the horn. The amount of the cream is more than the cake inside. The layered cake is quite soft. The whiskey taste is not strong. Overall, the cake is delicious.

Sambal Chilli Cuttlefish Smile Oct 09, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Food court

Went to Medan Selera SS2 and decided to take-away some food for dinner. This Medan Selera has more than 10 stalls, they have chinese food, indian food and malay food. So, finally I bought the sambal chilli cuttlefish in one of the Malay food stall.

The texture of the cuttlefish was very tender, it was not overcooked. The sambal sauce was spicy. This dish was perfect to go with rice.

It cost me RM5.00, the price is reasonable.
