Feel like eating fried chicken. So, I decided to eat-in in KFC, Jalan Universiti outlet. Each outlet has different quality of fried chicken . But, this outlet never fails to disappoint me. I have ordered their X-meal. It consist of one colonel burger, one regular fun fried, one chicken meat and one regular drink. The chicken thigh is just fried, It is so fresh, the meat is so tender and moist. The colonel burger is just packed, it is still hot and the bread is not soggy.smile

Price: RM10.45 +

Minced Meat Noodle Smile Oct 08, 2012
Categories : Asian Variety | Singaporean | Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

My colleague highly recommend the minced meat noodle in EAT. This dish is from Singapore. The handmade noodles is tasty, it is smooth and springy. The fishball is very fresh and bouncy, it does not have the fishy taste. The fried "sui gao" is nice, the meat inside is quite tender. The minced meat not much taste but goes with the sauce, it is perfect. The sauce is combination of vinegar and chili paste. You can request for more vinegar. It is a very appetizing meal.

I have ordered kopi-o. It is quite "kao" and slightly sweet.

RM10.90 for this set.

Note: It does not have service charge, it is self-service.

Chee Cheong Fun Smile Oct 08, 2012

Long Kei Chee Cheong Fun has a good variety of Yong Tau Foo. As I know they have a stall directly opposite of this shop which is inside the Taman Eng Ann Medan Selera. If you choose to dine-in in the Medan Selera, you can order other stalls' food. They are running their business in both stall and shop.

I have ordered round chee cheong fun, fried fu chuk, stuffed lady finger, fried “Sui Gao” and fried fish fillet with mixed curry and sweet sauce. This combination of broth is fabulous. The yong tau foo is very fresh. It does not have fishy taste.

I have ordered their iced herbal tea for the hot weather. The herbal tea is quite dilute, the herbal taste is not strong.

Price: Chee Cheong Fun RM 1.00 per piece
Yong Tau Foo RM 0.60 – RM 1.00 per piece
Herbal tea – RM0.80

Mo Sang Kor Bak Kut Teh Smile Oct 08, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Bak Kut Teh

Mo Sang Kor Bak Kut Teh is very famous in Klang. Reached this place at 8 a.m., it was packed with people. Luckily, we don't need to wait too long. Their bak kut teh was not in claypot style. There are served in small bowl. We have ordered pork ribs, pork knuckles, 3-layer pork belly and pork intestines. Each bowl will be given one braised garlic bulb and one mushroom. They boiled the bak kut teh soup with the meat for long hours which makes the meat absorbs well and really aromatic. The soup was very concentrated and strong herbal taste. The pork intestine have alot of layer and the texture was soft, smooth and bouncy.
The sad part was you are not allowed to ask for additional soup. sad
Bak kut teh lovers should try this place. Thumbs up!

Dotori Jeon Byeong

Kimchi Jeon

It was 4pm, decided to have a quick lunch in HanCook after getting my haircut. I have ordered Dotori Jeon Byeong. It is a seasoned Korean kimchi, Korean, glass noodle, carrot and tofu wrapped by rice cake. The wrapped is slightly thick.

Another dish was Kimchi Jeon. It is a Kimchi pancake with chopped chili and garlic as toppings. This dish is spicy. Besides that, a few side dishes accompanied with the main . Overall, the food is delicious and can give it a try.
