Pumpkin lamb curry Smile Dec 30, 2013
Categories : Asian Variety | Restaurant | Group/Family dining

Truly one of a kind and over-the-top amazingly delicious curry - Nepalese pumpkin and lamb curry! The lamb is super tender and chunky, and the curry is actually sweet (from the pumpkin) and very mildly spicy only. The texture of the curry is almost like mashed pumpkins, and not liquid.

Confirmed: better than Klebang Smile Dec 29, 2013

After trying the famous coconut shake at Klebang (Melaka), there's no doubt that Coconut Grove does it much, much better. Of course, price tag of RM7.50 here vs RM2.20 at Klebang (size difference about 2-3x). Loads of aloe very jelly makes it very refreshing. Overall it's sweet, milky (from ice cream) and very refreshing.

Best fried chicken! Smile Dec 29, 2013
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Burgers / Sandwiches | Halal

Chicken here is so good, that I didn't even need to eat it with a single drop of chilli sauce or ketchup (I usually take mine with lots of sauce). It's very juicy (even the breast meat), and not overly battered.

The honey butter biscuit is sweet, buttery, flaky, soft and just downright heavenly.

Rough comparison to a scale of 10:

Texas biscuit: 10
Popeye's biscuit: 7
KFC bun: -200

Great Korean chain Smile Dec 28, 2013

This is one of the better Korean BBQ places in town, which is also incidentally pork-free (halal ingredients) and located in a shopping mall; and therefore is one of the more accessible Korean outlets in Malaysia.

The unyung beef is extremely juicy and tender, and rich in beefy flavour. You get what you pay for!

Best mee goreng Smile Dec 27, 2013
Categories : Malay | Restaurant

One of the best and most understated mee goreng in and around Kuala Lumpur. The mee goreng is moderately spicy, enough for a kick, and relatively dry (which is good). Plenty of fried onions and chicken bits to give it a lot of flavour and texture.
