Categories : Korean | Restaurant

Working around Bukit Bintang, there is not many affordable Korean food choices.
This Sopoong in Times Square LG is a good choice for affordable korean lunch.
It is managed by a korean couple, therefore you can have authentic korean dishes here.
Kimbab RM7.50

Korean sushi, taste a bit different from japan sushi becuase they put in sour/salty pickles in it.

The set if translate directly means student lunch box. My friend made joke with the boss, asked if he can order if he is not a student anymore. lol
The lunch box come with kimchi, eggs, sausages and some other side dishes.
oh ya, same like all the other korean restaurant, this restaurant serve free side dishes too, normally they serve cabbage kimchi+cabbage salad+carrot kimchi.

Bulgogi is one of my favorite korean dishes. It is come with a bowl of rice if you order set meal.

For me, this restaurant is not the best of all but it is convenient if you feel like having affordable korean meal when you are around bukit bintang.

I love the cafe decoration and environment~
Cute Cupcakes

Cute Cupcakes

Their cupcakes are the most popular thing in shop but i don't really fancy them, they are too cute to be eaten.. =p
Wondermilk - RM7

Wondermilk - RM7

I love this very very much! There are many different flavors of wondermilk.
So far I've tried Caramel & Macadamia, both are great.
I really love how the cup of milk is topped with firm milk foam, oh so yummy!
Cheese 'n' Steak Roll - RM14.90

One of the Wondermeal~
I can feel lea&perrins in the brown mushroom sauce, taste good!
However, it is a bit too much liquid, you can't use hand to hold it and eat, must use the plastic fork & knife.
The chips are nice too, I like to dip them in the sauce and eat.
Ultimate Super Buger - RM18.90

Ultimate Super Buger - RM18.90

Another choice of Wondermeal~
The beef patty taste normal (quite thick though), with black pepper mayonese, crunchy bacon, tomato and vege. I love the fries too!!! I remember I dipped the fries in the brown sauce from above meal, they are so match!

I know they serve all day breakfast too! How I wish there is a Wondermilk nearby my office!

Lately there is more and more pork cuisine restaurant pop up in the city.
Here is one that I quite satisfied with.
Chicago Rib House located in One Utama, nearby the rain forest place, beside La Senza.

THis is the entrance from indoor.
Original Pork Ribs (Full Rack) RM53.90

Original Pork Ribs (Full Rack) RM53.90

Must try their pork ribs! During my visit, they are still doing opening promotion (buy 1 and get 2nd at 50%) so we actually had TWO full racks of pork ribs. the ribs are very tender and I personally prefer Honey Garlic Flavour. (there are 5 different choices for the sauce)
*I think the ribs here are better than Morganfield*
BOC Burger RM27.90

BOC Burger RM27.90

One of the pork burgers. Nice.
Cheese Nachos RM17.90

Cheese Nachos RM17.90

This is good for sharing if you are hanging out with a bunch of friends. drinking, chatting and have some bites! *I so wish that these nachos are refillable! LOL*
Classic Mojito RM25.90

Classic Mojito RM25.90

They have a mojito bar near the outdoor entrance. We tried the classic mojito but to be frank I don't really like it. The sugar cane "stirrer" is special though, bring back my childhood memory that my mum told me old generation people actually use sugar cane as toothbrush (bite sugar cane to clean their teeth).
