after renovation, they have seating area indoor and outdoor (used to be outdoor only).
and they have brand new food menu including range of breakfast that served until 3pm daily.

I ordered a tartar salmon croissant. it supposed to come with fries but waited very long time also didn't get it, checked with waitress a few times but still wait until I finished up and they told me that according to the menu it is not coming with fries, i told them it's written in the menu and asked them to check again. ended up i was right, and the fries was served.
Anyway, it was newly reopen during my visit so i assumed the staff is lacking of training. I think their first task should be memorising their menu.

Also, the small indoor space is too packed with tables, not so comfortable if you wanted a relaxing meal there.

Newly open in August 2011. The restaurant was crowded when they are having coupon deals. Without coupon, they still have 30% discount offer to walk-in guest.
unlimited edamame!

unlimited edamame!

I love edamame, and what is good about buffet is: I get unlimited refill for it!

some western appetizer..
sashimi / sushi

sashimi / sushi

I went quite early so there was many selection on sashimi & sushi. Honestly for the money that I pay, I think it is very good. fresh enough and lots of selection.
tempura

tempura

There are a lot of choice at the tempura bar too! my favorite are those vegetable tempura especially mushrooms!
food are ok.

food are ok.

I only focus on Japanese dishes. The buffet spread actually including many other food like fried rice, fried noodles, spaghetti, dishes to eat with rice etc etc.

At the drinks bar, there are many choices as well. The waiters/waitress will also serve you a jug of green tea when you have your seat.
I heard many bad review about this buffet restaurant but during my visit, it is quite fine. The food are not ultimately tasty but they are ok, fresh and quite many choices (but of cause you shouldn't compare it with those japanese buffet restaurant which charge you for RM100 per pax).
I might visit again in the future if I am planning for a gathering as buffet is always a good choice for group dining.

Spending per head: Approximately RM40(午餐)

I normally come to this shopping center during breakfast hour.
Delifrance is one of my favorite breakfast places, their breakfast set starts from RM4!

The breakfast menu. Affordable western breakfast.
Mini Crossant - Toast & Cheese

Mini Crossant - Toast & Cheese

I normally order this Mini Croissant - Toast & Cheese, come with a cup of tea/coffee.
add on RM1.50 for 2 scoops of mash potatoes. the mash potatoes taste so so though.

Not bad for breakfast but I hope they toast the croissant before serving though. (I will like it more if the cheese is melted in the croissant too! =p)

Recommended Dish(es):  breakfast

Spending per head: Approximately RM8(早餐)

Other than pork chop OK Jul 02, 2012
Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Kopitiam | Steaks / Chops | Noodles

Went to yut kee for a few times, love their pork dishes especially the hainanese pork chop. This visit is a bit special because we ordered something else. Friend recommended the fried glass noodle, said that it's his favorite but I have different comment about it.
Fried glass noodles

Fried glass noodles

normally fried glass noodle appear to be drier but this one looks different, more like wet version fried glass noodle, which make it taste more like bee hun?
Taste so so but better with the sambal & lime that they provide together with the dish.
If you ask me, I don't recommend this, stick to the pork chop or roast pork roll (roast pork roll is special available on weekend only).
