Claypot Chicken Rice Cry Jul 03, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Noodles

Most of the time,I will order claypot tom yam if I had a choice.
However, that day, I make an exception.
So, I order claypot chicken rice for a try.
However, I feel very dissapointed towards the taste.
Bad!

Bad!

RM 4.70 smile
Add RM 0.60 for egg

First of all, the price is pretty cheap.
The rice is actually a lot but the taste of the sauce is not nice at all in my opinion.
There are 4 pieces of chickens given but most of them are meatless with a lot of bones only.
Overall, I will never recommend this claypot chicken rice to anyone.
Perhaps, you should try their sizzling noodle or tom yam better? shocked

Jelly Special @ Tesco OK Jul 02, 2012

Categories : Thai | Malaysian variety | Western variety | Food court

I'm a big jelly fans.
Therefore, I always order beverage that have jelly if I had a choice.

RM 3 per bowl.

Very cheap and reasonable price.
Quite a big bowl that contains a lot of jelly but mostly are mango flavors.
Below are ice as if like the ice kacang ice but above are jelly toppings.
There are mango jelly, nata de coco and red colour jelly which I think are make of syrup.
I do not actually love the taste a lot as it taste too sour for me.
But, overall, I think its worth the price that consumers are paying !

Marmite Fish Smile Jul 02, 2012

I actually feel that Tesco Food Court have a lot choices of delicious food.
I love most of them especially this 'Marmite Fish'.

Plain rice with an egg

Marmite fish

This set only costs me RM 5 which is very cheap and reasonable in my opinion.
After all, it tastes very delicious indeed.
The sauce is sweet in the right proportion.
If you dislike fish, no worry, they have chicken too !
In my personal opinion, the chicken meat is actually harder whereas the fish meat is softer.
After all, rice with egg, plus with chicken or fish of your choice and a bowl of soup only costs you RM 5, isn't it worth the value?
* A must try * tongue

Jelly Special @ Kek Seng Smile Jul 02, 2012

Categories : Kopitiam | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato

Kek Seng Coffee Shop is actually a place that famous for its ' Ice Kacang ' and this ' Jelly Special ' which I am going to review right now.

RM 4.50 tongue
Unfortunately, I feel the price is very expensive since the bowl is very small only.
Its comes with various types of jelly, nata de coco, a scoop of ice-cream, home-made colourful jelly and ice.
Overall, the taste is pretty much sourish but I like it very much.
However, the homemade jelly looks nice in my eyes but I do not like the taste.
As I could say, the jelly just taste average, nothing much special about that. smile

Asam Laksa @ Kek Seng Cry Jul 02, 2012

I'm a big fans of laksa simply because I just love the taste.
However, this laksa just could not attract my taste bud.
I had do my research and found out that this laksa at Kek Seng Coffee Shop actually got pretty good reviews among the public.
Bad!

Bad!

RM 3 per bowl.
Regular price for laksa but portion is quite small.
The soup to me is quite tasteless actually. Not very nice for me.
And I prefer my laksa to be plain - with no vegetables and everything, maybe that's
the reason why I feel it does not taste delicious, perhaps?
Try it for yourself and be the judge! shocked
