Finally, this established and famous Fish Head Noodle has spread their wings to Sri Petaling. I would never ever miss to order their famous Barley, Bean Curd Skin "Foo chok" with Ginkgo, cost RM3.00/glass before tax.

I love it very much for its quality dessert, plenty of ginkgo, barley and found bitten eggs as well which made the drinks tasted very smooth in texture. So far, other than my Mom's best barley, ginkgo with soya bean, this is the second best that I have found, it is like a homecook barley ginkgo served generous dessert. I usually have 2 glasses.tonguetongue

Should you wish to opt for an affordable price, perhaps, you may consider their outlet located at Taman Danau Desa, Taman Desa which sells at RM2.00nett/glass. The only difference is, that outlet is a coffee shop without air-con facility.

This hidden restaurant in particular, the stall that serves pork noodles is my dad's favourite breakfast. He introduced me to taste the noodle. smile yum-yum, my first try was speechless, so far, the food stalls that sells pork noodles is not able to satisfy us completely, the taste of the broth was awesome which also played an important role in a good taste bowl of noodle. The soup was prepared with pig liver and pork meat which gives tastier and stronger sweet taste to the broth. Moreover, the pig liver is a rich source of protein, B vitamins, iron and other essential nutrients. They also served a lot of garlics fritter that we adored so much.tonguetongue

This Japanese restaurant was fast growing with the very first outlet located in Subang then Chulan Square whereby the outlet in Chulan Square has shifted to G-Tower. The restaurant is usually busy during lunch hours in Tropicana City.

Had a good lunch with colleagues. Without having to wait long, there arrived Mame Aji Karaage means Deep Fried Baby Mackarel, cost RM10 before tax. Crispy baby mackarel, taste so crunchy and the portion was sufficient for us to enjoy. Not salty taste nor oily. We had the whole fish together with the fish head and left nothing on the plate except for the tracing paper and the decorative items. The dish can go without the lemon juice. smilesmiletonguetongue

Yum-yum, come to this delicious Hakkai Kaisen Nabe means Assorted Seafood hot pot with choice of spicy miso or miso soup base, cost RM48 before tax for small portion, big portion cost RM88 before tax.tonguetongue

This yummilicious dish contained, tofu, mushrooms, golden mushroom, salmon, scallops, cabbage, carrots, crab legs, squid and oysters served with udon. Due to so many seafood cooked in one hot pot that made the whole dish a superior dish. For the kind of ingredients worth the money. The soup turned out so sweet and appetizing. All those ingredients in particular, the seafood such as scallops, crab, salmon, oyster and squid gave sweet taste to the broth. Quality and fresh condiments that made all of us really satisfied with our lunch. smilesmile

I invited my family to have a lavish Chinese New Year lunch during the Chinese New Year holiday in 2011. I remembered it was a double celebration in that year, one of which is the Chinese New Year family Reunion Lunch. We did not opt for the Chinese New Year package instead we ordered a few items from the Ala Carte menu.

One of the dishes we had, was Mini Loh Hon Poon Choi. The dish was done impressively with great effort. Loh Hon was made of bean curd skin which formed a bowl, in the bowl they stuffed mini abalones, black hair seaweed "fatt choy", water chestnut, chicken meat at the bottom, Chinese oysters, sea cucumber, mushrooms, ginkgo and button mushrooms. The whole "bean curd bowl" was placed on top of a garden of lettuce. The whole dish was the highlight among all the dishes.

Having all the ingredients cooked together that made the taste sweeter and mouthwatering. Sea cucumber was soft and smooth, the mushrooms were so juicy with the gravy, the Chinese oysters' that spiced up the dish with its seafood salty taste, bean curd skin was soft and the mini abalones were chewy.

Everyone was just staring and checking out the masterpiece before eating. A remarkable dish for everyone to enjoy. Slurp! smiletonguetongue
