Famous soya bean in Ipoh which you can see the heavy qeuee will be the Funny Mountain. The shop is being established early 1950’s, it is said that the quality of their serving remain unchanged since the early days. Funny Mountain serves the smoothest Tau Fu Fa in Ipoh Town. The boss is so thoughtful, they provide “drive-thru” service where you signal a little and the workers will deliver your orders. I had been there a few times but what I can say is the taste remains the same and still a super thumbs up.Soya Milk is also really smooth and the soya milk is very pure. It is also pretty refreshing as well

Tai Chong restuarant is one of the outlet which is worth to visit for its food. The small town- having the quite agood quality of food is simply impressing. The restaurant is quite a large one which can cater many customer which is up to 50 tables. XO 带子虾卷 is one of the special one. The scallops are stir fried with the XO sauce and it is matched with the shimp rolls. The taste is simply tangy and scallop is real nice and crunchy.

Secret Recipe is nothing special to talk about. I supposed many had known about their speciality which is their cakes. We had also visited the Secret Recipe in Teluk Intan which can consider one of the high-class place there.We ordered the chicken satay which comes with 6 sticks of chicken satay and served with slice onions and cucumber with it. The satay meat is kinda tender and there is no fats in between which I can say is called healthy satay compared to those at the roadside. It is also served with the peanut sauce as well.

One of the famous Mee Rebus stall is located in Teluk Intan where dear took me back to his hometown to try for that. The Mee Rebus shop had been opened a long time ago and it is said to have a few branches in the town. The food wise is simply nice.What I can say about the mee rebus is the taste is very nice and the sauce is not too starchy. There is nice taufu and egg added into the mee as well as tau kua and others as well. The most famous is the boiled noodle served with a gravy that is both (moderately) spicy and sweet called ‘Mee Rebus’; the most famous being from Mastan Ghani. besides the famous mee rebus they also served Nasi Kandar.

The name is kinda funny which had attracted our company to go here for dinner. The place is quite inside the town and going through some bumppy roads.The restaurant is being recomended by a Movie Star- Ah Xian in ASTRO and the restaurant had then becoming super famous now. Steam Promfret is one of the famous dish there. The promphlet was a fresh one and teh taste is not fishy at all.
