Ong Kee at Ipoh is famous for the chicken rice ..and at the same street there are two shops of Ong Kee. Though is the same owner but the original one will be the one old house which is not so maintened. As we had our dinner already, we headed to Ong Kee to taste the famous Ipoh Stim Chicken. Both me and dear ordered a quarter chicken to dine as well as the taugeh.Seriously the taste is really very nice. Though some are not chicken drumstick which the meat is smooth, the breast meat of the chicken is also very smooth. is a bit weird where we cant find any chilies on the table for us to mix with the chicken. I think the bos concept is to taste the original taste of the chicken without any chilies.

Tai Chong Restaurant is one of the famous restaurants in Teluk Intan which serves nice dining. It is a restaurant which is famous to go for wedding dinner or even family dinner.

七星伴明月 is the first dish on the table. A combination of 7 types of delights which is squids, stir fried egg, wantan, salad prawns, chicken wings, prawns wrapping and a yam cashewnut. The delights is simply a large portion and nice especially the prawns, salad, fried eggs and squids are my favorites.

Just a few lanes after the famous SUN YUAN LOONG restaurant, there goes another coffeeshop where we take the taste of the well known Apam Balik. When i think of Apam Balik, I am thinking of those thin one where a lot of Indian stalls are selling but this looks different.The stalls is having a nice apam balik with generous of ingridients. What I love the most is the generous amount of grinded groundnuts and sweet corn paste. It is served hot and the food is really delicious.

Satay here is unique as they serve offal satay as well the normal chicken and pork varieties. They will drop it on your table and you can eat alll you can. You do not need to finish the whole bunch but when you surrender let him know and they charge you according to how many satay sticks you have eaten. The satay is fresh and meat is tender too

Visited by Ah Xian, the shops seems popular but it is quite hard to find with the bumpy roads we heading too. The restaurant is nothing special and old hut with lot of fresh seafood available. Assam Prawn is One of the signature dish of the shop. Serving fresh prawns and the taste is good. The freshness of the prawns is there with the sweetness in it. It is alsoc chewy as well.
