Arabian CornerAl-Addar Express OK Jul 12, 2012

Categories : Middle Eastern | Restaurant | Burgers / Sandwiches

Arabian Corner Al-Addar Express is a restaurant serving authentic Arabian food. They serve a variety of meat dishes and I especially like their chicken dishes which are cooked in many ways such as braised, barbequed, and herb & spices. One of the thing you shouldn't miss while dining there is their briyani rice which is cooked using premium quality Basmathic rice.

Roasted Chicken
Comes in large portion, the chicken is nicely roasted, with a little charred surface. It has a nice aroma, but sadly the meat is not tender enough, making it taste tough. Make it a little more juicy, then I believe it will taste a whole lot more better. Had the roasted chicken along with their fluffy yellow briyani rice, making the meal complete and wholesome.

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

For those who are working or studying in a place which is far from their hometown, getting a bowl of home-cooked soup is not that easy. However, thanks to Ah Yip Herbal Soup, everyone can get a taste of nutritious soup even don't you are far away from home. Ah Yip Herbal Soup serves not only good soup, but also some dishes and rice to make your meal a complete one.

Chicken Herbal Soup
Chicken herbal soup is very nourishing, and the ingredients which are fully loaded in the pot clearly shown that the soup is nicely prepared to make sure that it tastes good, healthy and nutritious.

Braised Chicken.
Braised chicken is one of the dishes available in the menu. The chicken is normal, and taste a little tough, but the gravy is very nice, good to go with rice.

San Francisco Steak House OK Jun 30, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Steaks / Chops | Seafood

San Francisco is a restaurant serving premium steaks, delicious burgers, quality seafood and sinful desserts in a classy and comfortable environment. Even though the price of their food is on the high side, but it is always worth paying for good food in a good environment.

Fish & Chips. (RM22.90)

Not sure what to order, I tried on Fish & Chips, for it is the most affordable, safest and hard-to-go-wrong dish in a Western restaurant. The dish is very huge in portion, where a large piece of crispy battered fish fillet is served with tartar sauce, coleslaw and fries. The fish is fresh and flaky, and squeezing a little bit of lemon juice onto the fish brings out the flavour of the sea much better.

Snowflake OK Jun 30, 2012
Categories : Taiwanese | Stall / Warung | Desserts

I go to Snowflake so frequent, and I have tried almost every types of combination in their grass jelly series. Be it the taro balls, sweet potato, taro cubes, pearl, black glutinous rice or barley, I have tried them all. I have also tried all types of their shaved ice base, which is soya ice, grass jelly ice and normal ice. Hence I am quite excited when they launch the new dessert, which is the Japan Combo.

Soya Ice + Red bean + Ocha Balls
Instead of using a new type of ice, Snowflake chooses to use one of the already available shaved ice flavours, which is the soya ice. The soya ice is topped with red bean and ocha balls. The ocha balls are actually chewy balls made from green tea, and green tea is generally known as the best friends for red bean. Hence this is obviously a successful dessert with oh-so-Japan combination, bravo!

Canton-i Smile Jun 30, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles | Dim sum

I just finished movie with my girl in Sunway Pyramid one Friday and it is already dinner time when we came out from the cinema. I felt like having roasted duck but I didn't want to fight with the heavy traffic outside and went to Damansara for my favourite roasted duck. So I stayed back in the mall and went to the Hong Kong restaurant that serves one of the best roasted cuisines in Klang Valley, which is Canton-I.

Our dinner was very simple, where we ordered a plate of roasted duck rice each instead of a few ala-carte dishes to go with plain rice. The roasted duck had a crispy skin with a thin layer of fat hidden beneath the skin, and a succulent meat texture that made every bite so mind blowing. I especially like the rice, as it was ladled with some flavourful gravy. Portion was not big, but I did feel full after finishing the whole plate.
