Seafood in Pan: Fish & Co Smile Jun 09, 2012

Famous for its freshly-caught fish, this restaurant offers a wide choices of fish with different sauce and cooking methods.

"The Best Fish & Chips in Town" @ RM 9.90

Yes. This is its name in the menu. It is topped with lemon butter sauce and some parsley, and served with chips. It is indeed crispy on the outside and goes very well with the lemon juice and tartar sauce. The flesh inside is flaky and very fresh!

"Salmon Salad" @ RM 10.90

The bread, salad and salmon are perfectly matched in this dish, which makes a great companion for each girl who are on diet. Very light sauce and slightly salty smoked salmon is my favourite!

Left: Pink Passion @ RM5.90 ; Right: Lemon Coke @ RM4.90

The glass of Pink Passion is a pink fusion of pineapple, orange, cranberry and honey. Highly recommended because it is less gassy, but very tangy with right balance of sweet and sour taste.

It's a good, simple dinner with reasonable price and lovely atmosphere.

Chinese Roast Chicken Smile Jun 08, 2012

It was this day when I craved for some affordable chinese food. The first thing came into my mind is Hong Kong Roast inside the clean, brand-new food court.
BBQ Chicken Drumstick Rice

BBQ Chicken Drumstick Rice

A simple chicken rice like this can be so delicious! With the crispy roasted skin, the meat is savory and I can hardly see fatty meats there. I love their thick honey hoisin sauce which is used to roast in a Chinese style to make the skin into sticky sweet perfection.

At RM7.90 , it is so yummy and affordable!

Salmon Pepper Rice Smile Jun 08, 2012

My all-time favourite at Food Republic is this hot sizzling plate from Pepper Lunch Express. Despite of the wide selection of chicken and beef, the best-selling hot plate is no other than this Salmon rice.
Salmon Pepper Rice with Cheese @ RM12.90

Salmon Pepper Rice with Cheese @ RM12.90

The iron plate consists of generous amounts of fresh Norwegian salmon, rice, corns and some hidden delicious cheese. The salmon is succulent and fresh, while the rice becomes very tasty when i add some pepper and the signature salty honey sauce.

What a hearty meal for lunch!

Mr Ramen @ Bukit Bintang Smile Jan 13, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Seafood | Noodles | Group/Family dining

I have a thing on Japanese and Korean food as always (;

This time I'm going to introduce you guys with another restaurant with nice environment,
comfy sofas and well-facilitated with hundreds of comics and free Wi-Fi ;D

Since I was there dining alone, I only tried the most basic ramen among all----
the Original ramen

To my surprise, its taste is very authentic alongside with good soup.
The lean meat is the best ingredient to produce such soup.

With Wi-Fi enabled, I can enjoy my lunch while keeping myself busy with the laptop.
A good place for business lunches, and tea too.

Gelato Fruity Smile Aug 15, 2012
Categories : Western variety | Stall / Warung | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato | Sweets/Snack | Desserts

I don't know about other outlets but Gelato Fruity at Pavilion is definitely popular especially after dinner hours. People start queueing up for this small cup of gelato ice cream at expensive price.

I had mine too, and it surprises me with a very smooth texture and cooling flavours. Mine was the honey melon flavour, which is a combination of naturally sweet melon and a lot of honey which makes it even sweeter. So it appears to be very rich and sweet besides being icy cold. Best for those who have a sweet tooth. The price is not too high compared to other gelato shops but this is definitely worth the value of money!
