We were looking for a place with a mixture of Chinese and western and interestingly the Ship in Penang has some of such choices. Food was alright. Daughter loved the salmon fillet. Chicken chop was tasty.

The ship 有几间分行，而这家坐落于Batu Ferringhi, Penang是我最爱的一家。。没什么，我就特别喜欢在一艘船里面享用一餐。。那感觉特别奇妙。。这里的每一样东西都跟海或船有关。。让人很舒服，与世隔绝的享受。。食物更加不用说，除了貌相好以外，味道更是佳！

The Ship is a bistro that serves Western style food. It is located conveniently at Jalan Batu Ferringhi, Penang.The Ship Sirloin Steak served with chips and vegetablesThis sirloin steak is cooked medium rare. It is well rested and the meat is juicy and tender. It uses high quality piece of meat. The flavour of the sirloin steak is great. It is best served with a glass of red wine. For those who love beef or steak, it is a must try dish when visiting The Ship. The price is reasonable.

The Ship is a restaurant or in other word a steakhouse to be more specific which has an exterior design of a ship in red.Ocean Fusion set (Chicken Maryland)The chicken maryland is too dry. Although they do not use breast meat, but the chicken is really hard. Not really soft and smoooth. As you see, the chicken is dark in color, so, it may be because they did not use new oil to fried that particular chicken. Nothing much to review about the rest things on the plate as they are nothing special too

The ship是一间非常特别的餐厅。如名一样，餐厅是一大大膄船，服务员们都是水手的打扮。虽然他们自称the best steak in town,但是那一天我却点了我想吃的鸡扒。哈哈~鸡扒好吃，那浆也很棒！虽然价格有点高，但是都很值得！环境很好~是pak tor的好地方！

Garlic bread makes me love and hate the most. Love is the nice aroma between butter and garlic. Hate is the smell after you eat it. I always like to eat garlic bread. The garlic bread has two ingredients that I like the most. One of them is garlic, the other is butter. The butter sweetness mixed with the garlic fragrance is definitely one of the few perfect combination. The crispy part of the bread is very crispy and nice.

I like to eat escargot a lot. They are covered by the heavy cheese and some garlic. Then the escargot taste like chicken or cockles. After they are fully cooked and covered, the taste is actually total different and they are actually one of the best food you can have. You can eat the sauce with garlic bread too. I always order 1 dozens to share with friends so that we don't need to fight for it

The ship is well known as the best steak, but personally I don't like steak so I just order chicken chop. This is the black pepper grilled chicken. It cost me 20+ but, I have no idea why the fries and the chop they served is cold. It was crowded in The Ship, but their food can be served very fast. I wonder it is they have prepared everything, and just pour the sauce on the chop. The Ship's Banana Split - RM8.90++Our dessert, the banana split was really good though, at least to me as I just love bananas. The icecream was just normal though, not the haegan dasz or baskin robbins type. Taken with the cream on top and the sliced banana, this dessert tasted really sweet. Sizzling Chicken Fillet - RM22.90++The Sizzling Chicken Fillet was okay, but same comment on the gravy which was a bit too much. Personally i liked the way The Ship grilled their chicken which maintained its juices and being really succulent to the bite. Each mouthful of the chicken pieces will get the juices coming out inside your mouth. Now thats really tasty. The Ship's Tenderloin Sizzling Steak - RM41.90++Now I do have to comment on their Tenderloin Sizzling Steak. The taste is good and really tender, but I was pretty surprised at the way they flooded the whole plate with the sauce.
