Marrybrown is Malaysia's local response to Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). Although not as popular as the U.S.-franchise public-listed fried chicken conglomerate, Marrybrown still has some decent offerings to tap into unfilled niche markets.I placed an order for a Chick-A-Licious With Mushroom Sauce (RM12.90). This set meal consists of 2 pieces of fried chicken drenched in mushroom sauce, a carbonated drink, a small serving of coleslaw and a decent heap of fries.In my humble opinion, the fried chickens at Marrybrown and KFC are indistinguishable from each other. It really puts into perspective of KFC's "Original Recipe of 11 herbs and spices".However, Marrybrown cleverly innovates by adding mushroom sauce (or black pepper sauce) over the fried chicken pieces, given them a different dimension of appeal.However, the price point is still quite similar to KFC, so it is just a subjective matter which is a better fried chicken restaurant chain. continue reading

我几乎一年不会到marrybrown一次，但这一次因为妈妈他们饿了，附近又没有其他太多的选择，他们提议在marry brown 解决。我当然不会说不，就帮他们点了有饭的炸鸡套餐，因为老人家无饭不可。marry brown的炸鸡真的很不合我口味，我总觉得少了一些香味，我想是香料的问题吧～所以，真的没有下次。 continue reading

Marrybrown is actually one of the fast food restaurant that I love the most.They offer variety types of meals same as the other fast food restaurants.Firstly, the 'nasi ayam MB' which is one of my favorite taste superb.The meal actually comes with rice, chicken, cracker and soup.The chicken is nicely cook till crispy perfection.The mushroom soup which costs RM 2.50 was not bad too.They also put in some mushroom in it.Overall, a very satisfy meal! continue reading

Marry Brown, such a well-known fast food restaurant in Malaysia. I still remember when I pursue my study in Kedah, I like to take my meal in Marry Brown while waiting for my bus. So I was so excited to dine in again in Marry Brown when I get my chance. Chicken rice @RM14.50Hmm, seem like Marry Brown had change their menu, I never saw this menu in Kedah last time.Omg, I like this chicken so much, plus it is boneless, make me more happy when enjoying my meal, I hate those chicken with boneI like the soup also, but the soup actually is very salty and I think is contain a lot of msg, haha, but don't drink too much is still can be acceptable This is kinda like pickle cucumber, and I think eat this first before eat other will make you more appetitehmmm, I don't really like this keropokThe rice had nothing much to comment about. continue reading
