Had to go to Penang for on-site work recently, and found this great place for dinner!I ordered their famous curry fish head for 2 person. I could have ordered their other famous claypot chicken rice. However, me and my colleague did not feel too hungry, so just plain white rice would do.When the claypot curry fish head arrived, you could smell the strong curry essence. The dish arrived piping and boiling hot! The curry was so thick, it was unlike any curry fish head I have tasted in KL before, where most curry fish head was watery. Not only it was thick, it had a very strong smell and quite spicy too!The fish head was quite big, so there was a lot of fish to share for 2. The dish comes with some vegetables such as chinese cabbage, onion and lady's finger.The curry was so delicious, we even ordered extra rice to go with the curry. It was the perfect dish for a cold rainy day. I will definitely come back for more the next time I come to Penang mainland. continue reading
