In Malaysia, we hardly find theme restaurants. One of it might be this café. It's really give me the feeling in hospital/ clinic.Actually the food here not very delicious, but the attraction it is their concept only. Even the sauce, they serve it with the needle. Interesting! The chicken chop is nothing different from what we usually get from restaurant elsewhere. The chicken is fried till crispy and cover with black paper sauce. The sauce is tasty and not too strong of the black paper. The fries portion is quite big. I like it so much!! This is very simple meal. Spaghetti in tomatoes sauce. I think the sauce pour into the plate already enough to complete the whole plate. The portion is small to me. Besides food display, the other display here did take my attention. Clinic Cafe is a heavy theme based restaurant in Penang that offer a totally different dining experience to its diners. Not only the utensil is made to look like those use in hospital but the uniform here also is according to the theme.Prawn Fried RiceThe dish is presented in a kidney shape bowl where there is a big scoop of normal fried rice and topped with four medium-big size fried prawn with shell and a simple salad as side dish. This is basically just another theme restaurant in Penang, which is based on the theme clinic or hospital.Well, they have their waiter and waitress dress up in clinical uniform.The decorations that they using are basically as a hospital which I was quite impressed.They even have the wheel chair too if you would prefer to sit on it and enjoy your meal.The pasta Forgot what's it called tho. But the pasta indeed taste superb and delicious. However, portion is quite small and they put the clinic sign on the pasta makes it look a lot cuter. Haha Price for the pasta to me is quite reasonable too.Banana Yogurt They just blend the banana, so basically it will be all banana flavour.Very ordinary to me, but price is too expensive in my opinion.It costs around RM8 and above if I am not mistaken.And the drinks is not even full too!In conclusion, their food did not seem appeal to me a lot. For me, some of the food does not worthy for the price we had to pay.All in all, if you love to take pictures in a different environment, this may be one of the perfect spot for you.But, if you just would like to taste good food, this is one place that I would never recommend ! continue reading

Before we went to the clinic cafe locate in the Gurney Plaza, we had heard that got one theme restaurant had opened in the Butterworth, and we are so excited want to have a try since we never went to any theme restaurant before.Mushroom soup @ RM5.8Doctor and nurse @ RM2.8Sambal udang rice @ RM9.8Black pepper rice @ RM7.8Black pepper chicken pasta @ RM11.8Orange yogurt @ RM8.8Fresh apple juice @ RM6.8What I remember is the taste of the food is nothing special, or we rather to said it is normal and is not really worth with the price because the portion of the food is really small.
