I try to avoid places like this for lunch - the "one-upped kopitiam". However, Meals Station isn't that bad, actually. Yes, the service is without any smile or words, but the food is quite edible, surprisingly.

Their nasi lemak is pretty decent, credit due to the really good sambal. I usually have lots of extra servings of this - LOTS! It's spicy, and loaded with anchovy bits. They always oblige if you ask for more, but I take so much that I have to take it myself to avoid embarassment.


The beef rendang is reasonably tender and quite flavourful. As usual, my disdain lies only with the half piece of half-boiled egg. I like my eggs fried.
