Apart from the summer drinks promotion, Starbucks rolled out new cake flavors to complement the new drinks. The cheesecake is infused with chunks of earl grey jelly at the bottom. The jelly itself was refreshing but it did not go well with the cheesecake. The cheesecake was a normal marble cheesecake which was tasted sourish on its own so it was hard for the jelly to go well with the cake. The jelly has a slimy aftertaste that does not go well with the creaminess of the cheesecake.
