At that price, the stakes were definitely high, and we expected nothing short of top quality from the kitchen. Thankfully, they justified the price tag with a hearty serving of salmon lightly grilled to perfection. The accompanying chives cream sauce matched the meat perfectly; it took all of my self-control to resist forsaking my chicken pasta and grabbing more salmon from Wendy. =P
The bed of mash potato was also close to perfection, creamy and fluffy, which went well with the cream sauce as well. In the end, the chicken pasta was cheap and cheerful, but the salmon showed us why some things in a restaurant just have to cost more. Certainly a sad fact of life. =D
