SS Two Mall has been one of the latest additions to the community malls in Petaling Jaya. Therefore, not all shop lots are fully occupied, rather mainly on eateries. So, here we go, Dynasty Dragon Seafood Restaurant, which is located at Level 3. Besides normal meals, they do cater for Dim Sum from 930am- 5pm daily. Anyway, we headed for their dinner selection on that day

We started off with a platter of bit-sized appetizers such as salted egg rolls, stir-fried chicken fillets and also freshly sliced abalone. They all taste good and fresh especially the springy abalone

Then came the Shark Fin soup. It was smooth and quite generous with the terrific ingredients. Not too starchy as well.

The Roasted Piglet was a ‘new’ dish to me as I actually don’t fancy much due to personal reason. But as my diners insisted me to try some, so I took only one piece. It was indeed crispy with a thin layer of fats. Anyway, one go was enough for me, hehe.

Next to join the table was the Steamed Pomfret. The meat was fresh and smooth. I guess this simple way of steaming brings out the natural sweetness of the fish. Thumbs up! ^^

Soon, was ensued by Butter Fried Prawns. It’s buttery creamy and the prawns were succulent. In case you’re worry that you tummy won’t got filled up, you may try their Lotus Leave Glutinous Rice. It came with some brown rice, mushrooms and dried shrimps, which made it an aromatic and good substitute of fried rice that we usually have.

Before calling it a day, we wrapped up with some traditional desserts. They were these steamed handmade mini red bean bun, lotus paste pastry and some cooling Chinese concoction of sea water coconut with ginseng. The bun was steamy and fluffy, and the pastry was crispy on the outside, but soft in the inside. I heard that not many eateries in town that are still preparing such tedious but delicious dessert.

Overall, I think they serve a pretty good Oriental cuisine as freshness is retained. Why not drop by one day, and be your own judge? ^^
