Connoisseurs Lounge & Restaurant is located at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. So naturally, it's usually patronised by the members of the club but a lot of events are held there due to their opulent decor in separate dining areas. They have a rather extensive menu and a good wine list. While I was performing there as a singer, I had the opportunity to check out their offerings. Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti A garlicky aroma hit my nose as soon as this reached the table. There were plenty of thick mushrooms but just a little bit too much cream. But the pasta was cooked perfectly and for a simple dish, it was delicious enough.
Grilled aubergineI love eggplant/aubergine in any form and these were ordered to fit my vegetable quota. It was simply marinated with olive oil, salt and pepper. I love the silky smooth flesh and slightly charred skin. Went well with the pasta.
The service was excellent too. Hopefully I get the chance to try out more dishes properly next time.
