Nihonkai serves pretty good value for money set lunch and set dinner. I chose this place for my birthday celebration last year.This dinner set costs around RM22 excluding tax, came with two thick slices of buttered salmon, chawanmushi, appetizer and rice. That's a steal because the salmon slices were really fresh, tasty with the not too overpowering butter seasonings. This dinner set costs around RM22 excluding tax, came with two thick slices of buttered salmon, chawanmushi, appetizer and rice. That's a steal because the salmon slices were really fresh, tasty with the not too overpowering butter seasonings. I like the fact that it was cooked till just right, as overcooking will lose its moisture and texture. The chawanmushi is incredibly soft and nicely seasoned, a very good comfort food as well. I was very stuffed after having the set dinner.
