Fish & Co, is a good spot within Bandar Utama to have your seafood, located at the Lower ground floor it can easily be located just walk straight toward old wing from Focus point and you will see the shop on your left. The decoration wise, is quite like a sailor type of design, as if you are dining on a fishing boat with all the white wood wall around you and some fishing hook. Today we ordered a dish named "The best fish & chips in town". As shown on the menu, it is an award winning dish, push by my own curiosity to find out whether it is really that great, we ordered without due delay. Since our purpose this time is to find out the taste of their sea food, we only had plain water to avoid distraction to our taste bud. Service is adequately good, both dish serve at the same time but one thing we realize, the staff don't smile most of the time and the face is so "sour" looking, we guess it is because the working environment is so bad, anyway we are here for food only.
The so called "The best fish & chips in town" arrived. And here we go, the fish & chips is no different from other fish & chips available in their menu but the only difference will be the sauce. So we have our first bite, and it does not really give me the feeling of "The best fish & chips in town" since there isn't much special, i wonder how this dish won the award However note worthy is, the fish meat is so smooth to chew with that it almost "melted" when it enter your mouth (this type of feeling can be found in their other fish & chips too, so in our opinion it is not a standalone selling point) Chips is serve with some chili powder on it, but it is not crunchy and a little bit cold. I wonder how many hours those chips sit in the kitchen already ?
