The last time I had the opportunity to dine here was back in 2012 (East & West Buffet @ Checkers Cafe Dorsett Regency), so it was with pleasure that I got to check out the "Jom Berbuka Puasa Bersama Masterchef Dorsett" at Dorsett Regency Kuala Lumpur. If you're a lamb lover, then you'll love the whole roasted lamb, or popularly known as Kambing Panggang "Kuzi" Style. This will be provided nightly come Ramadhan, and it is indeed delicious, soft and moist going well with the accompanying mint sauce. Before getting into the traditional Malay cuisine, it was also interesting to note that Dorsett Regency offered a Japanese station, where various sushis, and sashimis were laid out for the diners. Japanese food lovers will be delighted to see this. We were indeed spoilt for choice, as diners were offered a sumptuous buffet of traditional Malays cuisine. It was savoury, spicy, sweet, sour all rolled into one, as there were just so many dishes to choose from. If the mains weren't enough to satisfy your cravings, then be sure to check out Dorsett Regency's dessert corner. I wouldn't call it a corner though, as there were so many types of desserts available, from cakes, to nyonya kuihs, to the sweet chocolate fountain, and lots of different puluts. I was intrigued with the Bubur Durian as they used a lot of real durians inside. continue reading
