Uncle Lim's is a modernize kopitiam which still preserve its old charm, that can take us into the future instead of fading away into oblivion. The environment is nice and comfortable. It serves traditional breakfast such as Coffee, Tea, Toast, Half Boiled Eggs, Nasi Lemak(chicken/beef), Otak-otak, Laksa, Asam Laksa, Chicken Porridge, Mushroom Mee, Wantan Soup, Chicken Chop...etc. I have ordered Kaya Puff. The skin of the pastry is crispy and the kaya paste inside is really aromatic, rich with pandan and coconut milk flavour. As for drink, I have ordered Lian Chee Kang (include Dried Lotus Seeds, Barleym, Jelly, Dried Longan..ect). The drink is just normal. Overall, the food here are good and the price is reasonable.

di sini terdapat pelbagai jenis hidangan makanan. saya amat sukakan nasi pattaya yang ada di sini. ia sedikit unik dan lain daripada yang lain. nasi pattayanya begitu lembut dan apabila ia digoreng,ia masih mengekalkan kelembutannya. warnanya juga nampak lembut dan begitu menarik sekali. telurnya juga terlihat istimewa kerana disaluti bersama udang dan mayonis.

Went to ikea for a walk. Oops..hungry, 8pm+ now. Grab for food and passed by Uncle Lim's here. Alright self service order and pay for it! take the number given and sit down wait them to serve me my favourite nasi lemak with fried drumstick!There are other varities too! Saw others are ordering assam laska, curry, toast bread, coffee, teh tarik and many more! wow, so hungry after seeing people having it! Oops..I only can choose one, so I've pick Nasi Lemak!Goood nasi lemak, but if order the rendang drumstick or curry drumstick will be much more better. Fried chicken no sauce will cause the nasi so dry out. ^.^ Dry mouth? hoho together with my soya bean! Favourite beverages at all time! Tasty without ice, still cold of course! Love it! Wish to order another cup of soya bean, greedy huh?

A wise choice to order from Uncle Lim's is definitely their nasi lemak. I was surprised on how big portion it is. Besides giving me the rendang chicken drumstick, there was also spicy sambal squid, boiled egg, cucumber, fried anchovies and the peanuts. The rice was fluffy and aromatic. The chicken renday was full of spices. The sambal squid was fresh and crunchy and the sweet and spicy sambal was delicious.

The laksa served here is quite small portion, but when it comes to the laksa richness. It is definitely not small, the soup that is serve is very rich with fish tasting, the prawn sauce that come together with it provide an extra layer of sea food tasty to the dish. With few mint leave on top of the soup, the soup also come with a strong minty smell. The texture of the mee is good, taste good and is easy to chew, give it a try.
