I usually do not like Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf because I think the drinks here are quite sweet for me. But this time, I told my new friends whom I have never met, to meet me at the most recognisable cafe, right at the front corner of Bangsar Village for me. Little did I know that they would decide to sit there and have a drink. I guess that is what men do when they have nothing better to do. I mean, eating or drinking or munching something is better than waiting for nothing right? Anyway, even my dad loves to to munch on food the whole day till he has developed a big stomach for himself, hence that is something I avoid doing myself. I saw my African friend with a local malay guy sitting at one of the tables, smoking and drinking an iced blended coffee al-fresco. The African guy was drinking the Double Chocolate Christmas Limited Edition. He asked me whether I wanted a drink but I was like, "No thanks" thinking I would be having dinner in a while. Later, I relented as I felt they must have felt shy as I was sitting there looking, or shall I say, staring into them? So I opted for a warm Peppermint Latte which was a very smooth blend. It was definitely a great drink to go with a cookie in the cold rainy day. From that day, at least I have something good to say about Coffee Bean and there can be an alternative that is less sweet!
