Signature Dishes
It is quite unlikely that I would appear at Sukimye Hainan Kopitiam, a mini restaurant located within walking distance from Taylor’s University and my place, at 1.00pm on Friday. I was supposed to be having a meeting with the members of PATA Malaysia Student Chapter. That day was an exception. Kah Mun, Natalia and I decided that we should step out of the campus for a while to take a breath after getting our blood boiled due to some reason.Kah Mun had a strong crave for their Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken, so I decided to order the same thing as her to give it a try. However, they ran out of “stock” as usual and only managed to provide me with Nasi Lemak with Chicken Rendang. I accepted the offer.To be honest, I used to be quite of a frequent customer of Sukimye Hainan Kopitiam, and their food has always been quite ordinary. I was, and I still am, more than willing to return to the place again and again because of the homely taste it has to offer for a person who doesn't stay together with any family members. Besides, their price is more affordable compared to those restaurants and cafe available in the campus.

The chicken bites were coated lightly with flour and deep fried till golden brown and crispy. Flavour wise is quite well seasoned. The gravy does not have the original black marmite taste, but it was concocted with sugar, soya sauce and others which resulted in a honey like colour. It tasted sweet with little sour taste, below average as original Marmite is always the best.
