Back in the days, Secret Recipe was a high-end cafe generally used for birthday celebrations, gatherings, anniversaries, and any other special occasions teenagers will often remember. Time flies. It's been more than three years since I last visited this particular outlet at Mutiara Complex, Jalan Ipoh, together with Don.Iced Cappuccino served at this outlet wasn't something anyone of you would ever prefer. Iced Cappuccino served at this outlet wasn't something anyone of you would ever prefer. It was tasteless, despite adding all the syrup provided by the staff.
His Ice Blended Mocha Espresso didn't taste as bad as my Iced Cappuccino, but it was just pretty ordinary compared to a cup of coffee you could always find elsewhere.
Looking at this photo always makes me drool. It was my Prawn Macaroni with Cheese, cooked together with generous amount of mushrooms and chewy prawns, slightly more than enough for my stomach. Sooo filling, sooo creamy, and sooo good!
Besides, I have always loved their Chicken Cordon Bleu, rolled together with ham and tender chicken meat, with cheese flowing out as you cut it through. Until today, although I have not stepped into any Secret Recipe outlets for years, I am still yet to find a restaurant that could make their Chicken Cordon Bleu in such a similar way.Give it a try!
